we never said nothing about wets!! that is not fair play

the rest of the scottish contingent are just a bunch of wimps , they never go anywhere past knockhill.

i think if alan G has his car ready and he is not working he maybe tempted. but i doubt anyone else makes it

no, for two reasons....

One: Super dot 4 actually has a higher boiling point than dot 5.1

Two: It won't contaminate if mixed with dot 4, and I'm leaving the 6 litres that sit in the ABS section, as that does not get as hot as the lines etc, thus I only had to buy 2.5litres.

Hi ian!

well i never knew that, i must look into that when i next change my fluids on my motor!

Should have exact prices after the wekend so we can start booking it for real.

Ian reckons he can round up a few more so may be able to get the day to ourselves we will have to see!

Right folks!

If we can get 25 cars in total we can have our own session at a discounted rate!

We only need 12 to run it but obviously it wont be as cost effective.

The price for 25 is 115 quid! per car which will include your lunch which is normally tops!

It will be a minimum of 6x20 sessions, 3 morning 3 afternoon, they will try and structure more time for us!

If there is just us they will prob do open pitlane

They ran a day on the 3rd of august which eneded up being open pitlane all day as there was less than 20.

So folks whos up for it??

Lee

Hi RRH!

ill send you a email with my details.

If we cant get the 25 cars required for the price to go ahead it will be alittle bit more expensive it works out at £164.50

But if we cant and you decide not to go i will just refund the money and scrap the idea.

payment up front would be good so i dont get caught short with a huge bill!;eek:

But surely we can get 25 of us together out of 15000 or so members on scoobynet!
we had i think 10 on the last list with 2 provisionel, think Blade and Steve sherwen were not confirmed.

Cheer Lee

Cool

Put me down as certain and let me know how much and where to send payment.
Now all I need to do is decide on a new turbo, fit and remap before the event.

Croft is a very nice track. I fancy this but as Steve asks can we get more info? (like max number of cars on the track at the same time, max number of cars present etc...).

I made a movie from the last time I visited in my FTO - download it from www.mivec.co.uk (click DOWNLOADS in the left frame).

Steve/Dave!
To get it at that price we need 25 cars! if its less the cost will be more
Hopefully we will have 25 cars so that will make up one session.
So it will just be us in our group but 25 isnt to busy really on croft.
if it is sessions it will be one 20 min per hour, 3 in the morning and 1 hour for lunch which is included and 3 in the afternoon.
Croft trackdays dont tend to get to busy any way so it may just be us!
On the third of august there was less than 20 cars and it was open pitlane so no rushing to get out!
my mate went and said he was on his own at some points!
They also provide instructors too

Lee,

How about starting a thread in this forum and the Northern and Scotish forums advertising the low cost of the day. It may well drum up some more custom.

Regards
