Cool

For once, my car wasn't the dirtiest.....some might say it was even clean? Good to see that the RA has been taking tips on car preparation for meets!!

Good to meet everyone again, and the weather was perfect again!!

Top venue too Lozza, er Lizzy.

Just waiting for Skoobidude to organise our night out now!!

Good luck Si and I'll hold on to the splitter for you mate.

Lizzy, I kinda got a night out...
Went to off-licence to buy some Buds, got home and the misses rang me from Dead Poets, Holbrook. So I decided to join her for the last 20mins - lemonade of course!
Great roads up that way. Turbo timer ran for 2mins outside whilst I ordered my drink!

Nick

P.S. A good meet last night, I enjoyed. Posted a reply on the "next meet" thread. Need to think of a night out agenda...

Harps WRX,

You had the white RA?!!

Was looking for the owner all night, then you drove off before I could speak to you.

How do you get on with the short gearing on long-runs?

What does it rev at in top at, say, 80mph?

Nick,

the best I can say is that its not good for motorway driving fuel wise. At 80mph you are at just under 4,500rpm, and it will just reach 150mph before it hits the rev limiter in top. You get used to it, and I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything else at the price now, but then again driving a "normal" tall geared Impreza after mine is alot more relaxing. If you ever over Matlock way send me a mail and you welcome to have go, or see you at next meet.

Andrew

go on then...I'll be there. 2 questions tho' where's the Paddock and ('cos I'm stupid) do you mean this Thursday (11th)?

You should be able to hear me this time 'cos I'm off to TSL on Thursday to my exhaust sorted

See you there.

Chris.
