not so good news is on way home my boost gauge was holding 1.3 in third and holding 1.4 in top....spoke to scoobymania and they said it equates to just under 20psi...

How the **** could your car be running 20 PSi, you would have hit fuel cut. Did you hit fuel cut ? Something isn't quite right here mate

phill...

you tell me, boost gauge reads 1.4 kfg/cm2 and holds...

it hits 1.3 in third....

scoobymania suggested a boost controller....

any advice appreiciated

oh and it didn't hit any fuel cut, just kept going and reading 1.4

I would be really worried, do you know anyone that has Delta Dash ? What MY have you got ?

Maybe you do need a boost controller, but if your not hitting fuel cut then shouldn't really be an issue. Have you got a AFM ? Have you modified the ECU at all ?

Get a Dawes device rather than a Electronic Boost controller, as you may not need it.

Hope this helps (beer goggles on!!) Cheers Phill C

All,

Right then, I've spoken to Sean at Scoobymania this morning (as Jase has left them) and he thinks the gauges (white 52mm) will be here either late this week, or early part of next week! So the good news is that we should all have our orders with us late next week

Thanks for all your support!

Cheers Phill C

PS Sean is the point of contact now

Totally Agree Phil.

Have to say that when I started the STi 5 spoiler group buy (see Styling section) I made sure that the supplier had the units in stock based on how hacked off I have been with slow supply of the Defis.

Dont worry Phil, thats no bad reflection on you - I know more than most how much hassle (and very little thanks) you get running a Group Buy and for no personal reward at all. And to think youve had to do this one twice, you must be going mad with it all...

To be honest, if the Defi's arent in by Friday I think im gonna cancel my order. Sigh....

This is bolloxs, phoned up this morning and asked the nice lady to get someone to call me back. Guess what no call back!!

On the phone now and it's just ringing. I'm taking my business elsewhere. It's not like they cant't post on here is it!!!

For those of you that are interested and haven't paid a deposit (although I'm going to take the chance, nothings been debited from my card yet) I am getting yet another quote from yet another supplier, although this supplier actually has them in stock (52mm white) please email me with requirements and I'll try and get it sorted out for the third time.

Cheers Phill C

PS Sorry for all the pissing around

Just spoken to Mike at Scoobymania and he is just as frustrated as we are. Rememeber he paid for the gauges in full and we haven't (£17 k worth ) It's been a nightmare for him trying to establish where the gauges are!! He sure they are on route now.

He expects then to be in stock, and shipped out to us within the next week or so!!

Hope this helps, Cheers Phill C

Unhappy

Guys.

Sorry for the delays but they are all being caused at our supplier end, the reason I've/we've not been replying to mails is because there's no point us saying one week, then we get down cos everyone just hangs us when that happens, as well as being short staffed due to injury and staff holidays.

There's a big order coming in and I'm hoping it will be here within a week. I can't say any more than that really, popularity of the white gauges is the main sticking point, we've usually got the whole range in stock and will continue to try to keep all in stock in the future.

Sean has a list of everybody who got in on the group buy and we'll get back to you the day the stock arrives with us.

FWIW I cancelled my order 2 weeks back with a very nice lady on the phone. I asked for email or written confirmation that my order was cancelled and that my deposit was refunded (if it had been taken as I cant see it yet) and she said this was no problem... needless to say no one has got back to me.

Jon.

JonW,

It's a shame really mate. We have waited this long, and still haven't got them.

Have you managed to get them from elsewhere ?
