Mine arrived yesterday. Won’t be able to fit them for a loooong time though since the car is still a bare shell so they’re getting put away safely somewhere.

Of all the mods I've done on this, this is definitely the one I should've done sooner!

I hear that. After messing about trying different headlight bulbs, sidelights, fitting induction kit , the bar getting in the way every time, bonnet struts wouldn't be better being fitted first !

Spoiler

Hi guys happy to say I also have mine, slight delay as they’ve been delivered at work but I haven’t been there much over Christmas. Unfortunately the bolt holding the cam belt tensioner stripped its threads leading to considerable damage so I won’t be fitting them for a while🤣 never mind it’ll be fixed and on the road again in a few months. Happy new year everyone and thank you for sorting the deal out !

Do these loosen up over time ? When I fitted them they were fine, nice smooth self opening, but now they near take my head off if I dont hold onto the bonnet when opening.

Had a bit of a tinker with them there. Not sure if I've "fixed" them or if it's in my head but there was a good 5 turns on the thick body part till it tightened on a thread. Not sure what the purpose of that is or if it did anything but doesn't seem as violent as I thought.
