Refitted the rack in the tubular subframe yesterday one of the hard pipes on the rack needs re-routing but there is space to run my power steering lines under the car to my electro-hyd pump this keep all the lines away from the exhaust and turbo
Also started fitting the wisefab uprights they have the equivant of raising the wheel bearing 50mm, Ie all supension arms are at the designing angles with the car set 50mm lower.
They also have adjustment to allow be to remove bump steer
So Mike you have gone from an abs delete to an M5 system , im guessing this because its less intrusive ? I have AP six pots on the front and the abs is very intrusive .

road going ABS is not the best when you change things out also designed to allow best stability in an emergency but at the expense of breaking performance.
The M5 motorsport system is designed for best braking performance but not as stable (assumes you can drive!)
you can also set up car weight, track, wheel weight, etc etc in the system. There are then 11 levels of ABS so you can adjust to your liking and maby have different setting for wet and dry.

Thanks for that, i can drive a bit although im no Dale Gent or Steven Darley.
Sounds like an excellent system. Its not a common thang tho , is it ?
It's a amazing bit of kit I cannot wait to give it a try
i think steven has on in his car and I know Damian has one in his legacy but other than that not many around.
I remember taking to Phil Glew when he was driving the Zen performance Impreza at time attack and he was the one that said, the one thing the zen car needed was a motorsport ABS. after hearing that & looking into it I wanted to get one, and now several years later I have.
AS performance have supplied me with some ABS adaptors to I can run the Bosch ABS sensors I have had to adjust the fronts slightly (Wisefab fault not AS performance) they fitted the standard hubs correctly.
Just a slight adjustment to OD then I checked for sensor clearance should be 0.8 mm +_ 0.1 mm and that was spot on
front brakes refitted all straight forward on these version two front uprights (the 1 verson of the wisefab upright this was an issue apparently with after market brackets)
I have finished all the break hard lines now ABS just needs power supply and rear wheel sensors fitted now. Just waiting for the wisefab rear uprights before I can fit the rear sensors.
I have also also removed the rear subframe. The new tubular one will require some cutting of the rear spare wheel well but should be ok to keep standard fuel tank.
Rear subframe is now in, I went for standard height mount so I could keep the standard fuel tank. Will be correcting supension angles on the rear uprights too. Wisefab rear upright should be here on Monday.
Some very impressive work there Mike, I’ve also got some of Andy’s subframes to go on, currently looking into the wisefab hubs.. where did you get yours ?

i got them through steve SMG, he has worked with them to sort the issues they had with the initial designs.
He checks them before sending too one of my rears Steve fitted sleves to the lower bolt holes ( the long bolt) as there they were a little loose. One of the issues they had in the passed was the rears were welded after machining and some became distorted, they have changed the process now but Steve checks them for roundness too
