We bought them to be so different from the scooby. I did hardly any mileage last year I'm talking lees than 500 and most of those were because the bimmer had a fit.

I totally get this, I have never really daily driven any of my projects as once you fiddle with stuff for track use it makes it not as good on the road, but nothing like a Sunday morning blast in the sun.
my daily is a big diesel suv .....auto too

You've had that car for how many years, believe me its not novelty. I don't know about you but theres something different about them cars. I still remember having the convo with the lads and they kept telling me get your battery sorted and drive it. I jumped in it after it had been parked and I kid you not I hit boost and was laughing. You know you hear about it a car that brings a smile to your face. Unfortunately rust has gotten the better of it and some idiot crashed into the front bending it out of shape.

Get yourself a daily something dirt cheap and drive it around. Then jump back in your scooby and if it doesn't bring a smile to your face sell it. I'm not going to try and talk you out of it.

The amount of miles I do on the scooby is shocking, said to the Mrs a few times I wanna sell it and she says to me if you do you'll just want another one.
