Just ordered quite a few bits again. Hopefully my caliper comes back from the bleed nipple repair today along with my PF pads and Motul fluid so I can get the new godspeed discs on all round and get it back on the floor. Have refurbished all 4 calipers and changed the colour too. Should really update my thread.

Howz Jack getting on with the Subaru?

You're getting as bad as me, mine came out nearly six weeks ago for about 3 days then went back in the garage!
You have been busy then ,looking forward to seeing the results!
It's my other son that has the Bug,Jack still had his golf as hes only been driving a year but he is saving for a subaru for next year.

Ah right, that makes sense. Yep, Jack will have to get one too then!

Yep, done braided hoses, brake stopper and full clean and tidy under each arch ready for the bits to arrive this week. I had one bleed nipple that had been snapped by the previous owner and I tried drilling and stud extracting with no luck, blow torch and extractor and welding a nut to it also with no luck. So gave up and sent it to Alyn at AS Performance to get out for me. Finally getting it all back today. With quite a few other bits too Has been really nice to get back under a car and get stuck in again. My 6 year old wanted to help me bless him.

Is your place still open or are you Furloughed too?

It's madness mate. I know Dane had to close Adams down and wasn't sure if they are open again yet. I'm still working full time from home and the wife was working part time at home while trying to juggle 2 young kids and home schooling. Has been challenging but also really nice to spend so much time with them all.

I'm going to have to update my subaru thread now (whilst I'm supposed to be working).

I was bitten almost 20 years ago by them , the one I have now will definitely be my last.
I'm sick of them now to be honest!

Gave the boys bug a bit of a clean today. Not bad condition for a 19 year old car!

Yes mate it doesnt warrant him keeping it for the little mileage he does.
sounds expensive but it's a clean one owner car and hes not bothered if it sells or not.
5 mins after it being listed got offered 5k..

certainly not overpriced in today’s market mate, I’ve not used mine in around 3 weeks and I think the exact same thing, pop it up for sale! I can’t be bothered if I’m being honest but I can see why your selling.

For a Bugeye it's over priced. But who cares, I remember putting mine up forsale for silly money few years back just to test the water. Had loads of interest, so took it off lol

I certainly wouldn't pay that much for it but i think its just one of those cars that it's worth what somone wants to pay and trying to find a decent one is pretty hard these days.

Think alot of dealers are buying them then doubling the price. Seen that happen so many times. As said you can put it up for whatever you like, even better if you don't care if it sells or not, you can avoid those low ball offers.

What was your car worth mate and what did you put it up for? 😂 I’m going to do the exact same thing. I don’t expect anyone on here to buy it for the price I will put it up for but I’m going to test the water myself as it’s become an ocd obsession. I don’t need the money so if I get a stupid price for it great, if not great....👍

Put my classic Impreza up for 4 or 5k, but this was a few years back, when prices were around 2-3k for a uk classic. Would have to be 10k for me to consider selling. As I'd just go spend it on another Impreza anyway lol
