Fortunately, stupidity doesn't yet rank as an international crime so, in the absence so far of any evidence of criminal activity, I'm not sure why our Home Secretary has taken this action when he knows in the end he'll lose in court.
But I'm sure those Daily Mail dogs can hear that high-pitched whistling.

I think the Times simply loved the idea of doing a Daily Mail story about a girl who is clearly as thick at 19 as she was at 15. Get the British public foaming at the mouth. And understandably so.
Think if it was a girl in WW2 who thought "gassing Jews ace but changed my mind because I'm having a baby, can I come home ?"
You have no home. No one wants you

I've read some articles that suggest it might actually be an elaborate plan to get ISIS extremists back into good positions within vulnerable countries. There have been 3-4 of these cases suddenly crop up in the global media over the last week or so...with all different women claiming pretty much the same things trying to get back into their "home" countries. It's an interesting theory

yeah definitely easier to monitor closer to hand. Read a different article which suggested that she doesn't have links to any useful intel. If she did, she would've been let back in under the radar (away from the media) and surveiled as appropriate from there. The UK has done that many times before.
