We still are by far not the best team in the tournament at all. But loving the fact we keep winning

Croatia going to be more than difficult but OMG I turned 50 this year and had loads of disappointments over the years, but my God, can we really get through to the final ?!

Yeah, it was something of a collecter's item.

In that we never looked like getting in trouble. Which, of course, is England's perennial failing i.e. game/time management.

Can't have England getting any further, we will never hear the end of it.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, Wednesday is the first time we play anyone decent in the competition and i've a feeling they will put us to the sword.

The media and fans have gone completely over the top and I refuse to go and watch it at the pub with all the over the top boll0cks about how well we are doing. No we have had the easiest set of matches in World Cup history to get to the semi final in avoiding any of the top teams.

The only positive is Croatia have been playing **** since thrashing Argentina in the group stages so it's going to be one nervy evening on Wednesday watching the game. England certainly need to come out flying.

I still think whoever wins tonight's game will win the competition. France and Belgium have been the best 2 teams in the competition by far.

I agree, with you on tonight's winner.
I think Belgium will be too strong for them, but its France afterall, and you wouldn't put it past them.

I was going to say Belgium but it really is too close to call for me as both teams have massive talent on paper and both have played really well in all their games. I think Belgium have the better attacking players but their defence let Japan score twice so with France having Mbappe and Griezman I just can't call it!

Well I'm going to the pub with my mates

Being born in 66, I missed the final by 3 months. and we may never get the chance again (in my group of friends lifetime), couldn't careless how we play at this point

Saw the 1990 Semi in a British Bar in Rio called the Lord Jim
Saw the 1996 Semi in a "Sports Bar" in New York surrounded by Germans drinking US Bud which was about 3.3% fookin awful stuff

Finally get to see a semi final in the UK with my Pals

Very impressive defensive performance by the French. They will go on to win this now.

I love watching the clips of the semi in 1990. I still remember that game now with Gazza crying. Sir Bobby is the best Manager we have ever had and I just wish he was still alive now to see tomorrow's game.

You look at the players we had back then and we really should have won the Word Cup in '90.

You're bang on, they had a real good team in 1990, I was talking about it earlier this evening with my son.
France had a good game tonight, they were all over Hazzard and he didn't get much.
Having said that, Hazzard really is excellent, so bloody quick and changes direction with ease.

Mbappe is so dangerous though, and lightening quick.
Lloris had a cracking game.

We had a spine in that team which was World class from Shilton at the back, Butcher in defence, Gazza in midfield and Lineker up front. I remember that game more than any other.

Hazard, Griezman, de Bruyne and Mbappe are in the next group of players after Ronaldo and Messi. Modric is also in that group and is our biggest threat tomorrow. I think tonight's game whilst lacking in goals was an excellent display of both attacking creativity and excellent defending. I didn't see any of the sideways play England keep doing, it was all about going forward with pace and power.

I am genuinely excited about tonight's match which I haven't been for a long time. The Columbia match I looked forward to as I knew they would be tough but we should beat them but tonight is a whole different level. I really can't wait!

After watching the Euro 96 documentary that was on last night even I got the song in my head lol

They have been asking for that all 2nd half

The 1st half is the best England performance i've seen, it was superb. Then they come out for the 2nd half far too relaxed and slack.

They still haven't learnt how to keep a lead and it's pathetic after all the hard work and great 1st half performance.

They've gone to pieces
