If we are causing the permafrost to melt (by AGW), then yes it would be totally man made.

The key word here being "If"

The planet was warming up and cooling down a long time before we came along, it is a natural cycle that can be confirmed by even the most rookie scientist. Or are you disputing that aswell?

maybe we might just possibly perhaps be contributing to it but do you seriously think we are responsible for it?

We produce CO2, plants breath in CO2 and breath out Oxygen, are you suggesting we are producing so much that this has gone out of balance? If so then surely we would suffocate long before we all melted due to increased temperatures.

Are you a climate scientist by any chance?

How come everyone apart from you knows the planet goes through climate change cycles? But everyone else is posting nonesense except you.

It's the very fact that climate cycles are (very well) known that makes using them as reason why AGW isn't happening look ridiculous.

I never said it wasn't happening, what I said was.

"maybe we might just possibly perhaps be contributing to it but do you seriously think we are responsible for it?"

If we are resonsible for it could someone please improve the weather in Germany so it isn't so fecking cold all the time.

For clarity, yes the climate goes through cycles, yes solaractivity affect our climate, and yes to most other bleeding obvious things youcan think of.

Are you people really suggesting that these factors arebeing ignored by people who are experts in the field of climatology? This workis then peer reviewed, by the global scientific community, and no-one therepicks up on your GCSE hypothesis? It kind of beggars belief that you would evenconsider this an option.

Here is a question for you, if North Korea detonates a hydrogen bomb under ground and the intense heat melts some ice that was trapping a billion tons of green house gasses trapped there, whose fault is it? North Koreas for melting the ice or the planets for creating the gas in the first place?

Or if a volcano errupts and spews billions of tones of greenhouse gasses trapped in the earth crust into the atmospheare, whose fault is it?

these are called "forcings" and are well understood by climate scientists

simply google "climate forcings"

wow you are sounding like an idiot

google "what is the global carbon budget"

which ironically was what the original science paper was about

and the "Climates always changed" argument - amazing !!!!!!!
