LiamB, your dyno chart says that it's showing power and torque on wheel, but the numbers seem to be realistically closer to what you could expect at crank. Otherwise 300WHP +~20% = 360BHP? So are they really crank numbers?
Also, could you show the dyno chart of before and after (you written something about overlaying 2 charts)?
Do you know the spec of your hybrid? What compressor wheel? Did they do anything to the turbine?

Above will certainly be Fly"wheel" power and torque.

However the Hybrid TD04 results are still impressive,

My TD05 despite similar, +mods completely under performs on torque curve. Time to re-think,

I hate the late delivery torque character I have at the moment.

It is indeed power/torque at the flywhel, it would be cool if it really was doing 360bhp at the fly!

The turbo has a billet 19t compressor wheel and has ported and polished compressor housing inlet and outlet. From memory the exhaust housing has some kind of thermal coating applied to it. I don't think the turbine has been modified.

Linksfahrer, more importantly though what's the car like to drive? Is that a 16G?

Currently I'm very disappointed , I have a slight boost leak on the turbo to uppipe gasket , but even so the low toque is appalling. It has been better in past before that and is obvious to sort but still the issue has always beengetting off the line , in normal driving from lights a fiat500 is faster without 5-7krpm and cooking clutch its terrible. On the other side the TD05 does pully hard close to top revs even in 5th !
However its not just not pleasant to drive I'm working on a new Maff , new gasket , and adding a 3 inch downpipe with a 200cpi cat. to try to get some torque. Im seriously wondering seeing your result to throw the TD05 16G off and go the route with that TD04 19T Hybrid.

I'm surprised at the poor performance with the 16G. Most of the stuff I read on hear seemed to suggest that 16G=better power and good response, hybrid td04=good power and better response.

You might find that once you get the issues sorted and a map tweak it transforms the car, it definitely sounds like something's not right there. I had a boost leak sorted on my car recently, it had been running like total dog****, jerky, hesitant, poor throttle response. Once the boost leak was sorted and the map was adjusted the car was back to running sweet and felt quicker too.

A word to the wise though, I'd get the leak sorted asap as it causes all manner of headaches (kills the lambda sensor, turbo and possibly even pistons if it's really bad). Are you sure it's a boost leak though? If it's between the turbo and the uppipe that would be an exhaust leak, still likely to cause problems though.

Sort leaks out and rerun, can't really go on the figures when you know you have a fault.

Exactly , but if you have driven all the way over from DE to SRR and then it happens while Duncan has it on the rollers, you are Feckd.

Just got the new Japspeed 200CPI downpipe as Duncan said the Std one is robbing me of plenty of poke. Now wondering if I should not just find a better turbo , as you know my TD05 is a PRC copy anyhow.

Liam who is the supplier of the TD04 Hybrid you have ? any idea what it flows cfm ? at say 1.4 bar ?

Take it to somewhere who knows what they are doing and can adress the mechanicals if needed.

Got it off Central Turbos in Derby. It's boosting to 1.3 bar. Not sure how much it flows but I've seen a compressor map on NASIOC:
https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2552234

Only goes down to 8000rpm for what it's worth but looks like it should flow 100000cm^3/s @1.3bar.
