Ahh stevebt gud question atleast ur kinda on topic ,,,, maybe cuz its rarer in numbers the spec im on about and its the same engine used in the 10 plus million maclaren f1 and maybe cuz u wont find a more beautiful car pillarless coupe, maybe cuz its the first v12 engine mated to a manual 6 speed yes it was bmw not ferrari, maybe its cuz its the first car to use computer aided design , and was the first car to use wind tunnel testing to fully design the car, also the first car to use can bus system thats now a industry standerd, first car to use electronic drive by wire throttle, also introduced multi link rear axle ,not to mention ahk drive system and this is some of the reasoms why its a pricless car and cost over a billion to develop add all that to the spec im on about with the maclaren f1 engine mated to a manual you see why the car is a million pund motor,,,,oh and come its got pop up headlights for crying out loud car is gawjuzzz and unique whats ur jag got on that ? Dont shout out any v12 just for the sake of it. The Bmw spec im on about should be in a bmw museum !!!

[QUOTE=nik52wrx;11957800]Well i for one have never heard of a manuas.]
It's Spanish. Sure the 540 was a BMW/ Seat project.
I'm thinking more 1.2 million. If, and it's a big if, its the 6 speed manuas BMIbiza version

Nik52wrx epic fail learn to read thats a 850 csi not the 850ci 5.4 manual , and turbo vin so you think after Maclaren took a bmw engine they wernt gona touch it up a little bore it out etc lolzz Maclaren was trying to make the car of the century and they did so obviously they aint leaving the engine standerd the basic layout is a m70 engine but ur not exactly wrong either turbo vin the s70 is a variation of m70

840Ci
The 840Ci exists with two different engine packages. The first used the 4 litre M60B40 engine with 286 PS (210 kW) and was produced from mid-1993 to late 1995. From mid-1995, production phased in the newer 4.4 litre M62B44 engine, which had better fuel economy and more torque, though power output remained unchanged.
The 840Ci was available with a 5-speed automatic transmission, though European cars were given the option of a 6-speed manual transmission. The only external features distinguishing the V8 model from the V12 models were the quad round exhausts, which were square in the V12 models. The 840Ci stayed in production until May 1999.
BMW 850i/Ci M70 V12 engine
This was the first model launched in 1990 with the 5 litre M70B50 V12 engine producing 300 PS (221 kW; 296 hp). It was available with either a 4-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual gearbox.
850Ci[edit]
There is some confusion over why and when the 850i became the 850Ci. The change happened around the introduction of the 850CSi and it is believed that BMW decided to include the "C" in the model name that denotes 'Coupe', just as two-door 3 Series cars alongside the 8 Series read 323Ci, 328Ci and so on. The confusion started when BMW installed the new M73B54 engine in the car. This was not an immediate changeover, and indeed both the M70 and M73-engined cars rolled off the production lines side-by-side for about nine months in 1994, both named 850Ci.
As the displacement of the M73 increased to 5.4 liters and the compression ratio went up, the power output increased to 326 PS (240 kW; 322 hp).
It may be a rare model of BM probably more so as they have rotted away and Id imagine calling BM for spare parts today could be troublesome.
A rare car is only worth what a buyer will pay at the end of the day, grand illusions comes to mind.

Big players wud bid big for that car, big players like jay leno or rich arabs even germans cuz of the history and rarity wud pay big money , jay leno in my mind wud buy that since he collects all classics especially rare ones no 1 else got , so no illusion sorry,, thanks for staying on topic
