Wired both reverse lights in so going backwards is as bright as going forwards. I hated one light being on.

These quick clips are so good.

The surrounds around the door handles have always bothered me being cracked when removing them so I've replaced them all.

And the screw covers as they wouldn't sit flush.

Also refilled the doors with x1000 protection.

Nice! I did my first one a few weeks ago. The cam tool came off halfway through!
Safe to say i'll probably just pay the garage to do it next time!

@IainMilford Just make sure you periodically check for that blue stuff coming off the belt and sticking on the tensioners.
It builds up over time and eventually damages the belt.
Ok for a race car that gets rebuilt regularly but not on anything that does a few thousand miles on it.
This was after around 6000 miles on one of mine. Will personally never buy one of those again.
I use the STI ones now.
Something to keep an eye on.

Cheers mate I’ll keep an eye on it. She’s mainly a trailer queen these days so should be alright, think I did less than 50 miles on the road last year!

It is a bit of a fiddly job with severe consequences if it goes wrong and my stomach was in my mouth when I fired it up for the first time! But I’m glad I did it and have added that to my list of experience !

Well done, i keep thinking of doing mine myself, but always think if the belt failed I'd have no comeback, as they will only help if the work was carried out by a garage.

regardless, they don't simply fail it normally occurs because of incorrect fitment, over-tightening, misaligned belt guides, etc.........

Changed all door handle surrounds as they had broken clips, replaced all door handle screw covers as they never clicked down fully.
Installed HT auto side skirts which was an absolute pig with one hole not lining up. Peeing down, freezing cold and laying on the drive trying to force a clip into a non existent hole!

filled the sills with x1000 and the doors.

Oh and new arch liners.

Finally happy with the interior, I think...
I'm real **** about marks and with the centre vents, climate dials and ashtray having marks it bugged me. Replaced them and and hoped to upgrade the gear gator for an aftermarket red stitched one. Turns out the after market leather is massively too thick so ended up ordered oem from Japan 🙄.
The oem clicks in perfectly and worth every penny.

I was also able to use a breaker to replace all of the missing black and gold screws that have become lost over time.
The sterio probably doesn't need the 8 screws holding it in but it didn't look the best.

still I love it looking brand new. Just wish I had taken before photos.

Seat belts next, and should I think door cards considering Ive just done the handle surrounds.

Whilst i haven't technically done the mod, i did take a trip down to HT Autos and buy this....

The only mould for the 2002 Prodrive bumper front splitter they done... After a while of searching and finding no alternatives (HTA stopped making GRP and pursued ABS for all of their new products) i asked to buy the mould and they agreed. Top guys actually and super nice to meet.

Certainly the only in the U.K. and i've yet to find another supplier elsewhere.

Hoping to create another for mine in GRP, whilst utilising carbon fibre and/or aramid fibres for strength. will most likely be on a shelf in the garage for a few years....

Finally installed the Tein Flex Z coilovers and had a hunter wheel alignment.
17 clicks on the rear and 20 clicks on the front.
feels nice and soft like a new car, feels light as anything and seems to handle a lot better

25mm drop at the rear and 35mm drop at the front.
May drop the front to 40mm though.

Sits about the same as mine on the same set of Teins, had mine on for summit like 5yrs and to be fair and are still as good as the day they went on, mine sits slightly higher at the front like yours does but haven't dropped the front anymore coz don't want the front splitter catching anymore than at does now

I'm in the same boat. I need to replace my splitter but don't want to ruin it.

Wheel spacers next

Know what you mean but mine would look better on the eye if it was dropped an extra 5mm, its like yours and the front sits just a tad higher, it's either that or raise the back 5mm so it has the same gap by eye between the tyre and bodywork, it's all in the detail as they say

I've only used it on the coilovers but from online videos & from what i can see it leaves a layer that should last a year.

I can't remember when, it's on here but the after market rocker covers i fitted started to leak, I assumed they were oem but they weren't.

Today I got the oem gaskets and installed them. They feel more tacky out of the bag compared to the others I bought so hopefully they will last forever.
look how the heat has distorted the half moons!

nievely I thought ICP did only genuine subaru items. I didn't double check and just ordered. It was only when someone shared some that were more expensive that I noticed the word genuine.
