Do you have to drill the wheel well to fit the difuser?

Refitted my freshly painted door handles, having treated the rusting backing plate lugs and then zinc primed them.

Cheers mate, yer I think it serves the purpose!

Unfortunately the previous owner broke the OEM ones internally so they wouldn't adjust for the MOT. Had to replace them and OEM is like £300 each for decent ones! So I opted for these for £200 brand new and have been thinking ever since about how to make them look o.k. lol.

Finally fitted my oil temp sensor above cylinder 3.
not sure if my wife is super strong or if I loosened it for her but we got it off.
While installing I used maths to clean out the intercooler and brake cleaner to clean the breather pipes out. Quite a lot of gunk in one end.

Also spent an hour cleaning the engine bay while the cooler was off.
only kicker is I knocked the spacer that the intercooler bolts to off and can't locate it.

I love tackling jobs and it all working. The car fired up quicker than ever. Maybe the meth vapour helps?

One sensor to go

Before the clean

After the cleaning - notice the intercooler bolt.

Before rhe clean

New adaptor in

Quarter of a turn at a time

Always protect the important bits

Hi all, thought i would remove the old centre pipe today and replaced it with a straight through stainless steel one, sounds a lot better in my opinion ,

I'd swap out water temp for boost gauge
water temp is a pretty pointless gauge given there is one in the oem cluster

Actually it is a good idea to have water temp as the oe gauge is very inaccurate and doesn’t register changes in temp unless it’s catastrophic!
