I have a 2003 JDM Spec C Type RA in Mica Blue, 14k on the clock totally original and untouched, with all the those lovely bits roof vent, carbon boot wing, BBS;s race battery, etc.... Garaged since i bought it only does about 500 dry miles per year.

I may be wrong, but I think that's a Spec C, not a Spec C Type RA. It doesn't have winglets, the 18" silver Enkei wheels, nor does it have the RA stickers.
Still a very nice, clean-looking car, though.

Sorry guys got mixed up on my model name, there are so many its an original late 2003 Spec C all original and unmodified JDM import, it was brought into the country by Litchfield Imports.
Ive been trying to obtain info on it, i know some years ago you could find old road test reports on the car, I especially remember one where it went up against a Evo,
If anybody could point me in the right direction where i light locate as much info as possible i would very much appreciate it.

still looking for a good RA-R.
will consider in the meantime a S202, S203, S204, or a good std Spec C / RA etc - OEM as possible, with good history etc.

to quote the second one (GB270)
"BG products used and now warranty’s the engine for up to 150,000 miles for any engine failure"
- REALLY?
gonna see a MASSIVE upsurge in BG products being used if they supply a Subaru warranty against engine failures...... especially on a 2.5

I have a RA-R for sale, if your really interested let me know.Standard car only add ons are a catback exhaust, turbo timer and a boost gauge(had them on when i bought the car 7 years ago).
P.S dont let my lolcation be a problem. The car was initually registered in the U.K so all import taxes are paid for only thing it would need is a M.O.T and to re-register(correct me if im wrong).

Yellow is my first choice, with blue second - sorry.
If this changes I will be in touch.

agreed, and also cornering yourself in the hunt for a yellow one, considering you want the rarest, in good condition. I think you need to decide if you are looking for WR1's at 12000K or 22b's at upwards of 70000K. Also given the yen rate, I would have thought Hurst would be worth a visit, at least to see it and talk to Max

In the meantime, rather than having no Scooby, I would consider a WR1, S203, P1 etc.....and when the RA-R arrives I can sell the 'WR1'.
Ref Hurst blue RA-R. Yes, I've seen this car when in Japan - and could have bought it but really wanted a yellow one - I'm put off now by the price considering the price it sold for in Japan.

Fair play; I was in the same position as you year before last, searching for a specific spec c hatch, no mods, actually hard to find, and a specific colour.
But during this search I became proper ill for the first time in my life, and this brought into focus that I should have been in the car enjoying it, not searching for it for ages. So I guess what I'm saying is that you don't know what's round the corner, so crack on.
When I finally got said dream car, I was very precious about it, wife gave me talking to about enjoying life, and someone on here pointed out that keeping a car low mileage for the next owner is like keeping your girlfriend tight for her next partner.... It's used whenever possible now. One life etc etc
