But at the end of the day it's a risk you take when you tune a car.

Without getting into any sort of slagging match between members, can I just ask, all you guys that say Duncan is good, have any of you truthfully had any problems with your car, what I'm getting at is this..... yes he maps a lot of cars and a lot of those are probably fine, these are the people that it seems are saying Khan is a good fellow, it seems that the problems arise when he ****s a car up and doesn't sort it out, this is where the **** flinging comes from, so basically, all you guys that are saying he's good had your car mapped first time and it was good so you have no experience of him when he does **** up ?? and doesn't fix the **** up ??

something went badly wrong with my car when it was being mapped by Duncan at RCM. The headgasket went causing hydraulic compression in two cylinders, wrecked the engine including the heads. Quite simply it was my fault, I hadn't taken notice or didn't know enough of the clues which in hindsight were blatently obvious,i.e. movement of coolent into the expansion bottle under boost. I had presented Duncan with an ailing car which should have been elsewhere but not on a rolling road. The engine was rebuilt and Duncan continues to map my car which has seen quite a few changes since.
I didn't blame Duncan because it wasn't his fault. If someone has honestly been wronged and is speaking from personal experience then fair do's

Mapped my classic had actuator problems got told to source another then had a safe map put on till I returned to rcm the following week fitted and sorted problem remapped and ran like it should for 3 years without fault and has now mapped my hatch with no fault
