I really like this car, looks great and the spec is great too. But engine seeping oil would bother me TBH. Is ther eno comeback from the company you purchased the car from?

I agree with brownpants. It's not your fault mate but I'd be trying to claim some money back from the company you bought it from because you've had no end of problems. They shouldn't be selling the car like that.

If it were me I'd have taken it straight back when I found oil leaking from the block. It's not a great sign of a good build and rings all sorts of alarm bells for me. Sorry.

I've been in contact with the seller (private) and the only things he's been willing to pay for were the track rods, in fact I received the money last night for them as I had forgotten to send him my PayPal address.

As for the oil it's seeping from the cam cover, sump and 1 other place I believe. I can't remember exactly what Dunc says.

Duncan reckons it'll be fine just now, keep an eye on the level then further down the line when I go for 450/450 we'll sort it then and have it bone dry, no leaks at all.

Fair enough. I didn't realise it was a private purchase. Slightly annoying but at least it can be sorted.
