Unless it's an awd vehicle, and you want to take advantage of the available traction.

Interesting Don!
Does the 'standard' widetrack blob/hawk have a 20mm or 21mm front ARB?
Check comment about initial understeer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGVw-L06zDw

Or change your driving style - braking too late, poor line

Or stiffen the front arb/springs - not enough cause front roll induced rear lifting (but then you'll have less rotation)

Or make sure the car's not over lowered on the springs which have reduced droop. Even with stock springs/dampers this can happen, and very common with coils, especially BC and the like

Classic (manual) Subaru 19/20
Prodrive P1 19/20
Classic WR99 Prodrive/Bilstein kit 19/18 (stiffer rear springs)

Rear 21 or 22 - Dry, smooth, roads - more front grip.

If the roads are undulating/uneven or conditions are poor, soften the rear bar - increasing the margin for error.
And that's the law

But different drivers have different preferences, and what is safe or dangerous for one may be predictable and controllable for someone else, and vice-versa.

If you've grown up on a diet of AWD or FWD then you might not be accustomed to oversteer, but if you're a seasoned RWD driver then chances are you're comfortable with it and know what to do when it happens.

No problem with throttle induced oversteer.
But, the end of the car with the stiffest combination of springs and bar, will slide first. If that's the rear, you'll provoke oversteer in an emergency situation.

Hi guys , come across this thread from a topic question I posted , Wrx classic , standard ARB all round , strut braces fitted , h brace fitted , showa shocks n springs , suffers with understeer , so hgot myself a 22 mm whiteline Rear ARB to fit along with the stronger mounts and whiteline droplinks , to get rid of the horrendous oversteer .

Question , start off with middle setting or soft or hard ? What's the results of each setting ?

Cheers

Just in case anyone else finds this thread and asks, the RB320 ARB is long gone. Sorry @swampy1957 !
