All off Carrie fishers scenes for episode 8 have already been filmed

 

Watched it on Xmas eve at a drive in

After finally watching the last one, and forgiving them for ruining things with Darth Maul & bloody Binks. I thought they had set the seeds for things to come..

Oh dear how wrong was I.

Cushing / motion capture cgi. Clever & weired a strange way. Likewise the Leia bit at the end.

Vader was good, all 6 minutes but lets be honest. this was all the fans went to see!

The rest of the film was pure dross. So full of plot holes and ommisions and brought nothing new.

I wasnt the only one. 3 of the group i went with thought the same.

Doc Strange was far better (again )

They had to do a fair bit of re-shoot for R1 as Disney weren't happy with the ending. Re-shoots are not uncommon, so whilst the main body is over, it ain't over until it's over.....

 

I watched it New Years Eve.

Thought it was good, but just like the last film, it wasn't anything exceptional.

Was good to see at AT walkers etc.

The start of the film was confusing though. Jumping about all over the place. I left think that it was 2 films condensed into one.
