yes a good point - "life" is incredibly tenacious

although worth pointing out, that does not extend to individual species

99% of those that have ever existed on Planet Earth are extinct, and pretty much all with a similar cause

 

I wanted to catch the Jaguar scene but somehow missed it. I have skimmed through the 3 episodes without success. Could someone give me a rough idea of where it is please? e.g near end of Episode 2, Mountains or whatever.

Wilsons Bird of Paradise, wow Nature is just fantastic

 

Tonight's episode was another stunning piece of film making

 

The locusts were the stuff of nightmares.

I take my hat off to these camera crews.

 

I thought the (timelapse?) film of the desert rain being thrown at the ground, like someone emptying a bucket of water - demonstrated the sheer power of nature

 

and those Butcher Birds.........out of a horror film!

 

The Harris Hawk footage was fantastic for me as I have one and to see them in the wild like that is just superb, especially hunting in a pack. Explains why mine chases rabbits under blackberry bushes on foot
