So Brexit seems to be a good thing then.

The common fisheries policy, has been an overall disaster for the small fishing ports of the UK.
The UK should return to eating more of its own caught fish, support its local fishermen

Restoring the coastal economic platform will be beneficial not just to the fishermen but the wider economy of tourism plus others. Face it UK seasides have been dire for decades

Healthy local economy has knock on benefits to other businesses Its nice to see a thriving town or village due to local businesses doing well
I cant see a downside to the revival of our fishing industry

It's cheaper to to fly to Costa del Sol than have a week on a UK resort, the weather is better, the water is warmer, and it's about the same to eat and drink, possibly a little bit cheaper. And you think not being in the EU is going to change that because?
So Ireland, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Romania and Croatia are not affected, despite being a full member of the EU but not part of the Schengen border-free area.
Switzerland , Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland are affected because they are Schengen countries despite not being an EU members.
The UK was also not part of the Schengen area, so the ban would not have affected the UK even if we were still EU members!
The ban is only on Schengen countries, not on EU countries or even European countries.

Its most likely to do with an easy quick option to squeeze trade with the the EU. A back door trade ban, by restricting people
Weakening Germany, France to the point of accepting weaker terms when Trump goes full steam ahead on trade tariffs with the EU

That why the PNC printouts all had Schengen compliance references at the bottom
Generally when we talk about the Schengen area, its a reference only to countries that are part of the Schengen open boarders agreement.
I'm surprised you didn't know all this before you voted for Brexit, otherwise one could assume you voted for Brexit without understanding all the facts!
Precisely, ask @mrtheedge2u2 what the statement was about..?
the headline to that daily fail supports my understanding.
