If you have no pops and bangs then the temps will be lower, less energy to raise the temps with no pops or bangs.

are you running a standard recirc dump valve or aftermarket jobby?
where is the boost gauge T'd off from?
what happens if the boost gauge "accidentally" falls off again? Is it possible there was a bit of a leak there before and it effected the operation of the dump/recirc valve?

Fault has been diagnosed as a faulty maf.

New one ordered.

Will swap it out when it arrives and update.

Bit of a puzzle there because its running better than ever how is the maf at fault as it would be running crap but then again are you not running maflezs map that only take intake temp or something like that?

MAF must just have went that day by coincidence,

I have it down to the Neutral Switch,

My Log shows AVCS doesnt go past 1,

Old pic of a Log shows ECU saw Neutral as Output of 1

Latest with new NPS shows ECU recieving signal of 0 when in neutral,

Got to be it,

Would explain why it pops when sat still, and why avcs doesnt advance ?

Quick update,

Turns out the fault was the Neutral switch all along,

The part changes after 2005 and the polarity changes,

My car thought it was in Neutral when in gear and vice-versa,

Replaced with the correct part and all is well again you can see my avcs is operating and the pops and bangs are back
