So funny it hurts, I know I shouldn't laugh but I just can't help it.
Did you see that Samsung share price today? It's super funny that you criticise Apple's batteries while Samsung are setting people on fire and bang on about Apple profit when Samsung are losing billions in a day. Is it a weak stab at distraction? A really weak stab.

Samsung has been killing it in 2016 with sales so clearly people do want devices that charge faster and more besides.
The S7 series with millions of sales globally is testimony to that and is the best selling smartphone of 2016 i believe.
Trying to get fanboys to see the light..........good luck with that.
The note 7 fiasco gives some breathing space to the competition but most punters in the market for phablets like the Note 7 will get Android models rather than the iPhone 7 - outdated and far over priced.

"Not best selling" and "not selling" are two entirely different things.
We get it. You get off on batteries, Its what turns you on. Each to their own. The vast majority of the rest of the rest of the world's population don't give a flying ****
The internet pretty much confirms that it takes nearly 95 minutes to fully charge a Galaxy S7 using adaptive fast charging. Apparently there are two versions with different processors which have different fast charging times? One is good, one not so much.
Real world experience tells me that it takes about 2 to 2.5 hours max to hours to fully charge an iphone 6s, depending on whether you use the 5 amp or 10 amp charger.
95 minutes while faster, is hardly that quick and certainly not going to be a dealbreaker for most, and interestingly the time to charge to 80% isnt that far apart and again, fro most, I suspect the real world impact (as opposed to a bunch of (probably) single tech geeks obsessing over the largely irrelevant) will be negligable.
I for one don't carry a charger about with me, and my phone either charges overnight, on my desk at work or beside me at home as necessary where charge times are hardly relevant.
But I don't expect someone for whom the absolute detail is all important and who is probably quite firmly on the spectrum to understand that.

Samsung have most growth from the semiconductor area anyway (memory and logic ICs) and then of course OLED Tvs, and even withing the mobile phone sectory the Note series is not the biggest driver. $17B is alot of dollars but Samsung will move on just like Sony, HP and Boeing (Dreamliner 787) have done in recent years from battery fiascos.
Most sensible people will just move to alternative Androids but a few outliers will probably get nondescript iPhone 7s. If Apple at least made a more interesting device they could have done some damage but screwed up by releasing a phone that even hardcore fanboys would struggle to buy over an iPhone 6.

Why would Apple care about 'doing damage' business is good, share price has been on the up for a good few months, if you'd taken my advice and bought when a member on here said they were doomed you'd have made $30 for every $90 you put in, that's an astonishing gain on a doomed stock. Wish I'd done it myself.

Here you go again.
Explain, in your own words, without quoting someone elses work, what is not "sensible" about aquiring a smartphone that does everything asked of it and more, simply, effectively and (for those using other apple products) seamlessly integrates with their other devices, and whish is, in fact, no more expensive to buy (yet holds its value better on the seciond hand market)?
And sorry, simply stating that those using other apple products should be doing bla..bla..bla... instead isn't an answer.

The main reason I went for an iPhone was the way they interact with other Apple devices. Handoff is fantastic in my opinion. Not to mention the Safari debugger for IOS.

every iPhone is the same as one another...great if you like it that way but since almost everyone owns Androids......

People buy android because they are more interesting, Apple is good at what it does, but its basic and restricting and you are stuck into this choking Apple eco system where even NFC only works with Apple pay. iOS10 is pretty much the same as the previous release. Scope to tweak and customise your device zilch. Apple own the iPhone, not a user.

One an over priced iphone and the other a flagship Android.
Suck it up lad. Go on and buy an iPhone 7 for £1000. Perfect for you.

LOL. Fanboys trying to justify themselves for getting fleeced on over priced Apple products.

iPhone 6 Plus Sep 2014 UK release, Note 5 August 2015 no UK release. Performance wise the year older iPhone trounces the Note, see my video and if you look on eBay right now you'll get more for the iPhone. You need to look at the 6S Plus, which embarrasses the Note 5 performance wise and is £100's more on eBay right now.

Its not like people who buy high end android's can't afford iphones (that destroy ever device on the planet you know in real world tests, right?)... most high end Androids cost just as much as iPhones but we know which sells more.
Apple are down on sales and wont even release iPhone 7 sales, come on Jack let the cat out of the bag and enlighten us.
At Dohmen Capital Research, we see that Apple’s U.S. Mac sales are also plunging, down 13.2% from one year ago. This is not a big part of total Apple sales, but it adds up when all the other “great hopes,” such as the Apple Watch, Apple Pay, Apple TV, etc. have fizzled. Even Apple Music now faces great competition from Amazon Music at a much lower price.
India is the third-largest smartphone market worldwide, after China and the United States. In the second quarter of the year, vendors shipped just over 30 million devices, the vast majority of which run Android. That is no different than what is happening in the other leading markets, China and United States, except for one thing: iPhone sales.
You should take up my advice and head to Cupertino to do something about this...
and a quick look on ebay for the iPhone 6 plus (the one that destroys the Note 5) I found these.
Much less than the £470 I got for my Note 5.
Been an iphone noob I realised this is actually the all important S version, this is the real bad boy which destroys everything else and its much much more expensive.
You can nutter as much crap as you like Jack (and its all crap) but come back when Apple actually are a dominant force because for years they are the expensive 2nd best.

Thanks Captain Custard, your image shows a iPhone 6 Plus at £400, it's a year older than the Note.
Here's your Note on eBay 'ending soonest'
Snap it up and double your money you buffoon.

Galaxy Note 5 named as America’s favorite smartphone
JOSH L. / 5 MONTHS AGO
JOSH L. / 5 MONTHS AGO
The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) has awarded the Galaxy Note 5 with the title of America’s favorite smartphone. The handset earned a whopping satisfaction rating of 86/100 in the nationwide poll, beating the iPhone 6s Plus by just one point.
Must be a hard life for you Jack, 2nd best and having to justify the premium price of iPhones.

Links to a Note 5 $800!! You just love the pie don't you. And by the way I've never said anything bad about the Note 5 other than show a video where it's trounced in real world tests by the iPhone 6, a device a year older. I leave the childish slagging off to Fandroids like you.

You blabbing about the power house that is the iphone 6s plus (got that right ya) and how it trounces everything else and how it's feeble android relatives are worthless.
Only for me to pull up actual retail figures from the US of A (Apples home you know) where the Note 5 64GB actually retails for more and is also a top seller.

Good that you've now realized that the iPhone is not overpriced though, that's quite the turn around.

Doesn't do much does it Jack if the 6S plus is worth less than the Note 5 does it. And sells less.(as does the iphone 7; which also trounces everything!) Fanboys are hard pushed to tell android from iOS let alone a cpu.
Have 2 lime Pies. Take a break .

I spat my coffee out actually, you've spent a month telling us that the iPhone is overpriced then drop the bombshell that the Note costs more... and that's a good thing, you've dug a hole too deep to crawl out of and I'm here filling it with custard pies.
You still haven't shown me a Note 5 that sold for more than an iPhone 6S+ just told tales about one you sold to your 'mate'. I've provided you with direct links to both the devices on eBay contradicting you and you just ignore them.
