Thanks for all your help on this chaps.

I actually fitted the exhaust today!

My existing decat downpipe is 3" with a taper to 2.5". So it bolted right on.

My concerns were when I changed the existing downpipe to a full 3" with a sports cat. Then I would need to get the other pipe, which Tomei have confirmed is the same length. So it would fit fine with a full 3" downpipe and this other Main Pipe A.

But I have to tell you all that this exhaust is awesome!

But sadly it is WAY TOO LOUD.

I mean seriously ear splitting loud, sounds amazing but I can't drive a car in public that sounds like that, as much as I love the sound, it looks like I will have to sell it.

No sending it back as its special order and when I ordered it I was told I could not return it unless it was faulty in some way.

Unless of course a sports cat will quieten it down substantially!

Looks like I am yet again on the hunt for a suitable exhaust!

Shame you say it's soooo loud, I was hoping it might not be Blitz like and I want to enjoy it on the track - the noise wouldnt bother me with a lid on but the regs are a nuisance.

Out of curiosity, where did you get it from and how much did you with shipping and duty etc. Fell free to PM me as I'm not worried about the taper as I'm only looking for about 350/350

Ideally near what I paid for it, so around £1,000.

I got it from Amber Performance, they are the only Tomei dealer in the UK.

Try Blitz loud x 10 and then you will be close to what this sounds like!

Would a sports cat quieten it down?

What did you think lad, its a straight though pipe with no rear silencer to speak of just a jap style box.

You think its loud now wait till all the carbon blocks up what silencing system is in place, it will just get louder, believe me i've been there.

When I saw the pictures I thought how could someone live with that noise lol.

As regards the cat, it will help abit but nothing massive.

Seems as though a cat will make little difference like you say.

I forgot you were twinscroll! Yes, probably due to the manifold.

Anyway, its coming off the car at the weekend.

I am looking at a turbo back system from either H&S or Cobra.

Going to start another thread and see what people think of each brand.
