Well Max @ Hurst Cars was an absolute Legend, the unit was like walking in to Impreza Heaven
Some stunning cars, but really glad of my choice the JDM motor is so different to the UK Impreza's I've drove & owned.
Could not fault the whole Process.

RA-R or not, £18k for a 10-year-old Subaru with 100k miles, which isn't even original...

Good cars at the right price will always sell quickly, and true bargains sell within days. It's been listed for about 7-8 months, so if it was a bargain, somebody would've snapped it up by now. And the other RA-R must've been listed for over a year!!!

A classic example of 'you can charge what you want, doesn't mean somebody's going to pay it'.

Mileage and the wheels would put me off, they did have another Type RA-R for a extra £5k which has original wheels and less mileage.

Yep, that's the one! Crazy money when you consider what other cars you could buy for the same amount.

If you can afford to have it as a weekend toy then great, but if its your only car and you want something that does everything(fast/comfort/sounds good) then my money would be on this below!!

But you already know how good that 2.5TFSi engine is

Yes mate, the 2.5TFSi is a great engine, and the RS3 is definitely fast and sounds good. The ride is firm but not unbearable. Unlike the TT, it only comes with an auto box, so it's very quick in a straight line. It would make a great daily drive, but not so much a weekend fun car. My main criticism of the TTRS is, like so many modern cars, it's not very engaging to drive, and apparently this is even more so the case with the RS3.

This would make a much better weekend car.

Cheaper than that last white one, with much, much lower mileage. It's been for sale for a long time, though. I'm sure I read on a forum that somebody had been to check it out and spotted evidence of accident repair, and then found out it had sold at auction for about £7k.

Subaru's dont do anything for me anymore, I dont know what it is but a few years ago I would be all over that yellow RA-R, but same goes for any Impreza I just cant seem to get excited like I used too, Not sure if it because im getting older(34yo) or my circumstances have changed(married/children) but I can not see myself in another Impreza again, But then again I get excited now looking at Audi RS4/RS6 Avants, and BMW 335d X-drive Touring but there out my price range

But your still on a Subaru forum commenting on an Impreza-based thread. Once you've owned one, I don't think you ever fully step-away

That's been for sale for months. Was previously listed on autotrader for £18,500. Another overpriced Impreza that won't sell!

Its like smoking, you know you should quit but you cant, and you find yourself trawling through Scoobynet for no reason at all

Problem is my dad who is 60 years old still has a Impreza(owned for the last 7 years) so every time I see him we talk Impreza's, Occasionally I go and visit Matt and the lads at MB Developments and see all the Impreza's in the unit, so I think the Impreza is just part of who I am!!
