No updates as yet, I'm going to spilt a EJ207 block I've got very soon and send it off for blasting and machining ready for the 2.1.

Will post pics when it's split

STI4 heads have arrived today, they are going in to be fully rebuilt/refreshed ready to slot onto the 2.1 when it's complete. I bought these to avoid downtime on car as it can now be fully built on a stand and then just slotted in.

More updates?

Are you still in the Herts area (I live in KL)? I'd love to have a look over your project some time! I'm hoping to get my engine-swapped bugeye 2.35 -> v3 Type-R project back from EngineTuner in the next couple of months - obviously I'm just throwing money at them, rather than doing the work myself as you are, but I'd still love to get some ideas from you.

I run JJMs which is a Subaru garage in Leighton Buzzard, feel free to pop in if you're about. Let me know when and I'll make sure the R is there. 👍

Sadly not much to update, I have finally stripped my EJ207 block down to bare halves now and will be sending it off for oversizing and soda blasting very soon.

I have had my grill refinished in gloss black, and fitted a brand new genuine pink stars badge.

I'm collecting parts to overhaul the rather tired OE suspension. This is the first piece of the puzzle completed.

Matching Whiteline 24mm F&R ARBs, freshly painted with the grey theme I'm going with.

Starting to collect a few bits and bobs ready for the engine build, RCM fuel rail kit, unfortunately 4 of the bolts are incorrect so
I can't start installing on my manifold. New ones should be with me soon though.

Test fitted the rails to the inlet now the correct bolts have arrived. Slightly disappointed with the look of the caps, so I think they'll be going crinkle red to match inlet.

Would love a white 2 door, keep looking at a fresh import V5/6 thats on ebay for 7k but the wife has more chance of buying it than me haha

The 2.1 is a no brained as it literally costs the same as building a 2.0.

The 34 wheel should leave me with a bit more in the tank if I want to turn it up a bit more in the future. The engine to be capable of 500+ so if a Spec C 6 speed pops up in the future then.....
