What a beautiful piece art mate! Really well built and properly this time! It's such a shame so many poor companies out there that say they can rebuild an engine but are p*ss poor really and couldn't rebuild something out of Lego, let alone an EJ! They should be named and shamed profusely! Great looking Hawk mate.

Awesome work, that must be crazy on the roads!

I know a couple who moved to Fremantle last July, hope to visit them in the near future.

Running what head gaskets?

We've got lots of issues with the 2.5s doing gaskets after the 600hp mark.

Also, as a little tidbit, Benson etc in thr USA leave the darton liners a little bit proud of the deck on purpose to supposedly promote better gasket seal.

Ran 684hp on a 2.5l Benson block a while back.

Thanks.

We do the 14mm studs on the big builds too.

Puts my mind at ease for the next one.
2.35l with the RCM gaskets. Should be 900+

Good time Daz lad, was someone shooting at you? I'm sure there's a 10.9 in there with just work to the launch, I'll add the time to the list!

I noticed on your youtube you pulled a 12.1@126mph with 643whp, which goes to show how hard I had to push my shoddy WRX to get to 12.6@104mph with 260whp in the damp. Drag racing isn't easy!

the 12.1 was with a bad launch and missed gear.

I did 10.9 back in 2010 with my GC8 at York Raceway.

I wont be happy unless I get Mid 10's in this one.

Incidentally I ran a 13.3 in a very standard Blob STI

Nice one, brutal reaction time, awesome 60 foot, must be the greatest feeling ever to hit 10's.

You class 30psi as high? I run 35psi.

Just one question, not related to your car! But how do you embed YouTube video into posts, been trying to figure it out all day!

Just interested Daz, but why did you choose to go from rotated to normal reversed inlet?
