my statement was meant as a all round/year tyre. Especially on a performance car where the driver needs progression in all weathers.
I didn't say anything about winter tyres. Read my post.
There's loads of decent tyres out there for all year, Dunlop, mitchellen, continental etc etc. Depends what you want to use it for.
Most nowadays like to buy the cheapest tyres and expect to preform in all sinerios, you can't have all.
I'm pretty sure you didn't buy them tyres just for winter?
Like I said, they are good in wet and that's it, compared to others out there.

Well I bit the bullet on the rain sport tyres and first impressions are very good. I haven't pushed on too hard yet as I want them to bed in properly but I haven't noticed any flex in the tyre wall and the difference is really noticeable going through standing water, the car felt in control and didn't pull at all which I was quite surprised about.

I will give then a few miles and see how they handle on the limit.
