Thanks for all the good comments guys, car has had a quick photoshoot last week for a newspaper and is awaiting another one soon.

Took it down to Fast car festival on Sunday courtesy of Goon Squad and had some fun.

It is fast for 1bar of boost.

Pics and a sneaky video of a practice run on the Fueltopia Barrel Sprint;

Car looks fantastic
Love the side exhaust but do you not find yourself breathing/smelling the exhaust gases while driving?

Whats the bootlid on your car? I love the de-spoilered look but would like a little boot lip thats molded in rather than stuck on for my own car in the potentially near future.

Bootlid will be a Do Luck or imitation Do Luck.

Something like this.

Thanks Sam.

Not at all. Exhaust exits low enough and with enough angle that it either blows away from the car while sat is traffic or down the side once moving. The Windows actually bring in very little air at all.

Books is an ducktail fibre glass Jobby by ABW which we then stripped the inner skin from and tweaked it so we could mount it in pop presses

The guys at MB met up with Martin Battye to finish the map on Thursday and the car now has all 8 Cals available.

Took the car to Santa pod Saturday for some test runs and some logging. The car is a monster. Spent a fair bit of the day on the barrel sprint course getting used to the car sliding and controlling the 360. Just need to bring the speed up between the barrels now as its takes a little finesse or the car never quite straightens and will happily spin all through. Lots of data and showed with some seat time the car will be a monster. Also did an initial 2 runs up the strip but had fouled the plugs been on the anti lag all day so suffered a miss all the way up through 4th gear meaning the times don't mean much.

She's back to off the body shop now to be magazine prepped and we should be back out on show at Trax with Fast Car and Car Culture Collective.

Cracking looking scoop, if you don;t mind me asking, what are you using to hold the wings and bumper together? Looks nice and neat.

They are some Ali plates made up in house with Riv Nuts behind so we can use Allen head bolts to spin the bumper onto the wings. Means removing the bumper is a 2-3 minute job but still fits in with the overall look of the car

Ian, Still on the GTX35 and it performs really well actually. Taking a load of abuse with lots of time spent on 2Bar and AntiLag without an issue. I would reocmmend them, going to try and get it on the dyno soon to see what the full figures are but definatly no complaints so far!

That's great news, will deffo be looking seriously at these when it comes to it. I hear they are genuine garrett cores?
Have you any contact details for MB Developments as i love that exhaust of yours and wondering if they can make me something similar.
Cheers,

Picked the car up day or so ago to get it all ready for this week. Also first time out now it's fully mapped. It wet it's pretty much a machine for Suicide. In the dry today though it is a real animal.

All cleaned up now ready for trax tomorrow with fast car and car culture collective.

We've been busy,
Car has been over to Trax with Fast Car and Car Culture collective,
Not the smoothest of days Blew a fan relay and popped a hose which meant instead of spending the day like this;

It spent more of the day like this ;

Although its good to have friends who are mechanics as shown in the picture!
Managed to drive it home though thanks to a few friends who had tools etc with them and the guys from havair who lent me a battery booster as I forgot to turn the heated screen off when it got pushed into place, part of the cause shown, I hose that split along the jubilee clip under the car;

We did have a much more successful journey out to Jap Show Finale although the 2 hour queue for the strip wasn't fun, Looks good at least!

Just whack the boost up, and go learn to drive it then!

It will be a different animal on full power, and youll need to learn to drive ot again anyway, so cut the practice put and get it sorted 😉

Lots of practise I'm hoping next year. 2 bar runs next time out and time to give it some real stick. Need to stage it longer to make sure we're at full boost on the launch.
