I wouldn't say so mate
There's an event happening in airfield in Ireland august 13 th runway club Ireland are hosting it standing 1 mile event against exotic sports and super cars
Entry is 350 Euro which is feel is very steep but I'm
Tempted to do it
I don't do whole car event/show thing myself
Just plan do some miles innit and enjoy best I can
So this turned up from Japan today delivery 8-10 days no import taxes 190 Euro opposed to 440 from Subaru fitting it timmorrow
Fired the car up today and took it for a spin round trip 22km
Full boost hopefully tommorrow
Not updated this for a long time
Lost all interest in this for the last year
Decided it’s time to ge this resolves once and for all
The car will go to scooby clinic in due course at the moment ordered the parts i need
Syvecs s6i ordered
Toucan
Engine sensor package including wideband lambda
Cobb maf delete kit
Mishmoto intake pipe
Tomioka fuel pressure reg and lines [stumble repair kit)
Pictures to follow
Progress at last
The ecu is faulty according to m mechanic
Meaning said man mapped the car 3 times knowing the front lambda wasn’t working
****in wrong dat in my book
Not his fault we have a fault ecu
His fault he knew the ecu wasn’t reading the lambda
And attempted to map
An again still not working then third map
All the time collecting money that’s what boils my ****
Instead of aborting on the first map attempt I’d of paid him
Something and we wouldn’t be having this conversation now but it’s all about the money at the end of the day and I in my eyes I’m the victim anyone doesn’t like it get th **** off my thread

When you take it to sc get them to confirm what it is before fitting any parts to your car, once confirmed fault, then fit all your stuff to car, because if that's the case you'd want proof and then you can tell of your bad experience.
If it turns out true, I agree with you 100% half these mappers just take your money and quick to shift blame, some don't even spend enough time needed to map a car, even traders are on the hustle any way they can acting like their looking after you, seen it too many times in my time.
And yet everyone has their followers and bum kissers, some people are just too gullible.
Hope you sort it..
I agree 100 percent mate that’s what I will be asking to be done
That whole experience with said mapper has happened and I want to move forward past that and get my car 100 percent
That said I’ll revisit it all in due time
Only priority now is steaming ahead and getting the car repaired
Contrary to what I read on other Subaru forums I have had quite a few emails garages and mappers offering their services it was suggested that no one would want to go near it work on the car not deal with me that was simply not the case

Sorry to hear your troubles and I hope you get this resolved.
Wouldn't it have been cheaper to replace for a like for like 2nd hand Subaru ECU?
How are you 100% sure he was aware the front lambda wasn't working though? He may have realised after the 3rd map attempt.
What if another garage is trying to "find a faulty ECU" now and replace it with something super fancy that you don't necessarily need to take your money, have you thought about this possibility?
I was told
After the first map that the lambda died at the end of the mapping session
How convenient
Brand new oe sensor and again told same thing again
On 2nd map then told the brand new sensor could be faulty
Another genuine sensor ordered fitted
Murray motorsport had it 8 weeks map no 3 told same thing
All the time my wallet was emptying
My mechanic removed the lambda in front of me put power though it and it glowed orange like a fire so it’s working why is it not working in the car no communication between. The lambda and the ecu no fuses blown no wiring issue
Can only be the ecu
Jdm hatch ecu was impossible to get hold of so I decided to go syvecs route and here we are
That’s what they will be doin mate
I spoke to kev decided on a shopping list and began gathering parts
The clinic will doing everything from the top down
