You wanna get those headers wrapped mate, lots of heat rising in the bay there and with a short ram induction it's not ideal...what you doing with the headers and up pipe you have removed?

Wrapping cheap 304 stainless can and will cause cracking as you can exceed the heat tolerance of the metal and it will become brittle

so nobody wraps stainless headers then?
What would you rather have cracked headers after a length of time or high inlet temps constantly?
Mine are wrapped and no problems here...have known it happen to people who use antilag

Im not saying no body wraps them, I am saying it is not a good idea and that you will need to replace them sooner or later due to cracking.

304 stainless cannot cope with the heat demands of a turbo charged engine, it is however, cheap.

If you decide not to wrap them, you will find they will start to melt everything plastic near them when used hard in hot weather, cam belt covers, wiring & connectors to the rad fans, sometimes the rad fan shrouds, & the oil filter will suffer.

look great but absolutely no gains over the Oem headers and as above massive engine bay temps its about the only part left on my twin scroll jdm thats standard lol

ordered the wrapping today however look at second pic if the headers we need a gasket for the up pipe its a completly different shape to the oe gasket any ideas where i would get a gasket guys

just picked up wheels had them powder coated in grey original wheels light as a feather next up four wheel alignment and bodyshop for undersealing and fr spoiler
