There are a few on ebay. The classic flap is a different shape, itsore square at the front edge. Generally easier to find too

I would be forever reaching up and touching the flap in the pitch black if I fitted one
Good job though

Going back to top mount in this then? Is there a problem with the FMIC?
Looking good by the way.
Also, congrats on the sprog! I have 2 and no time to do anything now!

Fair enough. It's your car and you should make it just how you want it. You're not going to be running mega power anyhow are you so it shouldn't make a difference. May improve turbo lag.

Yeah its only a wrx so im under no illusion of its performance, its mapped mafless by andy carr, who will tweek the map, tbh the car doesnt need a fmic, id break the gearbox before straining the tmic with power hahahahs

Sold the sti as the mrs got made redundant 19weeks pregnant,
Could justify having 9k in a car when the house/family came first, i bought this as i knew the history, i tend to remove bits and sell them and they pay for the next mod,
Ie once the fmic and prodrive bumper are sold, changing wont have cost me,
I do how ever, miss the sti as it was a great example.

Is that a pic of the actual STI TMIC intercooler you intend to fit? Only ask as I'm pretty sure that's only a WRX intercooler. Not enough fins to be a newage STI intercooler.
