Guys went to fuel up today, the gauge was flashing on 7.4 and wouldn't budge, anyone know what could be wrong? Another re calibration? Damn these things

You shouldn't need to recalibrate again.
Is it a new unit? New sensor?
I've got mine up and running and it's perfect,slightly different to yours tho,I have the LC-2 with G4 gauge and lsu 4.9 sensor.
Does yours have a serial port so you can plug into the laptop,if so install log works and see what readings you're getting on the computer.
Is it also possible that the car has a fault and is running really rich? Sticky injector ect?

Brand new brand new sensor mate. It does plug into the laptop mate, I don't think the cars running rich, it's been fine so I'm confused.. Fuel light came on, then the gauge stuck at 24.4 then a few mins later it just flashes at 7.4...

I'm confused as to what could of happened to make this happen?

Had a read of that last night mate, either way I've drove with it blinking so guess my sensor is now goosed.. Just don't know other then fuel light being on why it threw up a fault... I could try a new sensor but if it happens again it'll become an expensive fault..

Spoke with gaz (pink ninja) who said he had a similar problem and ended up replacing the controller and sensor as his was faulty...

Read that one too buddy, defo a dead sensor now, wired up how the instructions say so has to be right.. Was all going fine with the correct readings for over a week or so... I'll drop the company a message see what they say

been running a lc1 wideband with no issues for last 17 months with only 1 calibration

have had no issues what so ever

Emailed the company, they said to try another sensor if it's that they'll send another new sensor out, worse case secenario they said if it's the controller they'll send a new kit out

Sounds like you've bought the wrong Wideband! Innovate have been struggling with reliability for years and years now! Plus the whole calibration thing is a PITA.
My mate has two innovates (one is broken, innovate sent out a replacement foc) and an AEM wideband, he much prefers the simplicity of the AEM, no seperate controller (its built into the gauge now) and no need to calibrate.
I myself run an AEM wideband, I think they are about £140 now, gauge complete with bosch sensor and wiring (everything you need).

You could be right mate, is a real pita to be fair but it's done now so hopefully once sorted it'll be all good as it does seem a good piece of kit... I'll update tomorrow after changing the sensor to see if thats worked

I run a LC1 in my car and also had one in my last. Never had a problem with them, easy to set up and work great. There's no separate controller with mine either.

Thats excellent, obviously not all of them break, but it is a very common issue. My mates one still works the gauge but the analogue out put (to ecu) doesn't work.
Do you still have to calibrate it? Was it £140?

I run the LC2 and must say its a great piece of kit.
Read loads of reviews on all AFR kits and innovate came on top in the price band.
Also has very good logging software.

Most people will log with their ecu, along with many other parameters, not really seeing the need for the wideband to log?
I just cant help but think there are way cheaper and more reliable systems out there (AEM for example)

I wasn't aware you could log wideband with ESL?
I will have a look into that one.

Wideband logging has always been available on ESL. Turn off closed loop, connect the wideband output to the lambda loom signal wire, and the Lambda range will auto select to 0-5v instead of 0-1v.

Turning off closed loop will stop the ecu making fuel adjustments in closed loop driving,this way you can get your fueling closer without the ecu trying to target 14.7 on idle and light cruise.

Yeah know that just wondered if could use wideband connected to esl all time but not much point if closed loop of and be easier if showed afr not volts

I still think it's useful to use the innovate's logging software,it's a good tool,I don't have to convert v to afr. Just plug in and log.

Sorry, yep you are correct. Think from memory mine is called the MTXL or something not the LC1. The controller and gauge are all one unit.
Came from eBay, £147 all in. Great bit of kit.

I am using An AEM ecu, I have configured the 0-5v output from the wideband in the ecu software to read and display as actual AFR. the AEM ecu allows for an input to be user configured to display any number at any voltage. in may case AFR.
I log the parameters with my laptop connected to the ecu, ie boost, afr, maf load etc.
