2006+ BMW M5 V10
2008+ STI Hatch
Much more....

Brother has 65 plate BMW 320D GT auto albeit laden with 9k of extras loves it. Replaced his 63 plate BMW 320 GT man with 69,000 miles set of wipers tyres and front brake pads and diesel, then was written off with a stolen car.

Update:

I decided to be sensible for a while and let other things take priority, such as the house renovations and O Licencing.

So I have bought a mint 2010 BMW MSport Business Edition 318i.

The 318 is lacking a bit of power, but it returns reasonable mpg, and any business use cost is recovered. The gadgetry is great, ticks all the boxes and some...

The only thing I haven't worked out is why the radio seems to be analogue, or at least not very digital. Also haven't worked out why the Navigation only permits the first part of a postcode, and then asks for a street, then if you select back it then allows the first digit of the postcode, ie BB18 5 and then asks for a street.....

Anyway all in all I'm very happy with it, but will be looking for something with more umph next year once I've completed some jobs that need doing, as I know what I'm like with £ and BHP!

Over and out.

Rob

Update:

The BMW is a lovely car to commute in and has been great for the 10k I've racked up, however I'm now ready for a change so it's going soon.

I've been considering also rats as I'm very indecisive, but one thing for sure I need some power!

What are the newer STI saloons like, 2010> circa £12-£15k second hand?

I'm tempted by a hatch STI too, but a built motor is clearly a must!

Suggestions ?

Thanks,
Rob

I bought an Audi .. I know, I know, but I picked the 3.0l quattro and a quick remap later and I'm running a 40mpg 300bhp (almost) motorway monster.

I looked around for ages and chose the Allroad, I liked the stance and trim.

I'm happy with BMW, in fact we've just got a new family motor, Renailt Kadjar ECO which is currently doing between 48-60mpg depending on my driving styles, and I still prefer the BMW that's only doing 33-38mpg.

I might see what happens over the winter with the used Subaru market and snap something up then, and if I get my requirement get a cheap 1 series or A3 for longer distances for work.

I'll need to sell my van too as it's barely used, and I'm starting to run out of room.
