I headed over towards a wrecked aircraft at which point the whole place burst into a war between ghouls and raiders. I just sat on the cliffs watching as they took each other out. Wish I had a sniper rifle to have been able to take some out from a distance.

 

Ive just killed Kellogg which was fun, I struggled on clearing a factory for a sword, but once id switched to my hand held beating weapon i seemed to sail through, Flamers made my life hell.

So what Guns you all using, i need to ask a few questions.

When i tag a item for collection i presume the small magnifying glass that appears over stuff means you need that correct ?
When you find an area you can build upon, ie i found 1 in an Alley do you just farm all the materials ?
Still not too good with the Guns mods...
Whats best gun for your follower, IE do i need to also buy him ammo or could i just give him Mini Gun and he uses it ?
I saw some big explosions happening over yonder, i presume that the battles going on ?
Ive got 2 followers the dog and the detective i presume theres more.
What do you all do with the settlements ?
I presume when you offload your junk it all collates at one point, and not at that bench ? ie i use a bench in a house clearing and its all back at base for me to use ?
Do you always use the suit or do you go without it ?


I'm sure ive got more....

 

im varying between silenced maxed out tommy gun, sniper rifle, maxed out shotgun and occasional missile in the face of em hahaha

up close shotguns rock big style especialiy when you start to get the damage they do up.

im in dances power armor but you have to get through the brotherhood story line to get that hahaha


and for the other questions,

not biothered tagging stuff.
i built up first place and thats it so far.
gun mods rock, i just max em out for damage.
noit sure on follower guns, piper picked up a plasma gun and used that then stopped and went back to piston so not sure.
yeah theres fights between rivals pretty often.
yeah theres lots of followers, i've got access to about 6 i think of the top of my head.
other than the first one not done much with em
i tend to put stuff back in the main base i have in a specific cupboard

 

ill do a post on the forums i would hope that where ever i offload stuff they pool to 1 big inventory...

When you transfer your junk to work station it is accessible from all the work stations in that settlement, I'm working getting it to all settlements with the local leader perk but ain't 100% sure it's possible

 

And then when you craft it uses it up as needed

 

Just snagged the Alien Blaster and Upgraded my X01 Power Armour, love this game

 

I love the x01 armour, got a set with the hot rod flame paint job on. Have built a nice two story warehouse to house my six sets of power armour.

ive got the t51 and t60 that's it, level 28 i think i am, just deployed artillery and have the missions that you get from the glowing sea.

Had to swap out Hdisk on PS4 for 2tb because was full...

I saw a post online where the Xo1 is so I'm off for that today...

 

yeah i found it, only lvl 2 one though so need to figure out how to upgrade it or find higher level one

 

Just make sure your high enough level because I think it matters

 

You upgrade it at the power armour station, depending on what level you have in science I think.

any ideas how you setup supply lines. I have ths skill just unsure how i actually make it happen.

Press L1 on a settler and choose where you want them to go, not sure how this works though as I've got a few going and doesn't seem to make much difference

 

Yeah there's some good upgrades like more carry weight and jet packs, you have to exit your power armour very close to the yellow thing and then the craft option is available.

 

24 hours in and I think I'm level 13. Haven't been to Diamond City yet. Cleared the raiders but other than that haven't done many quests, just wandering about finding locations and doing a bit of clearing. Decided to take some time out and build Sanctuary up a bit.

 

The Quartermaster tasks are a good way to easily build XP.

Now up to level 29.

 

My Xo1 is now Mk3 and I have a medic pump to auto stimpak one of my 90 stimpaks, game is kinda faceroll now xD

In the end I did took me a few tries to take the raiders out in one vats session

 

Stick it on hard if your not already. More chance of legendary enemies then.

 

I saved him eventually, i had to use Phyco jet and some other buffs and an execute...

 

lol lvl 7 here after 2 days, dunno how you find the time, there's so much detail to it.

How do you charge the fusion powercell for the power armor?

 

You don't they just run out, but you will in time soonish have enough to run them all the time, I've normally got 15 in my reserve....
