I have the same turbo on a 2.1 making 401BHP I'm running slightly less boost pressure than you.

Is that what you were aiming for? Or is it running less than expected?

Md321t is more suited for the 2.5 engine

It was on the car when I got it, ill be honest I'm not keen on it.

My graph is like yours and it feels laggy unless your hammering the **** off it and that's not really my style.

I'm tempted to drop a few BHP and go for a faster spooling turbo maybe add some meth

I have an Md321t on a 2.0 and on the stock ecu it made 433 bhp at 1.8 bar on v-power. I now have an alcatek fitted and it now makes 447 bhp on v-power and 481 bhp with 20% meth.

I think the turbo is fine on a 2.0 you just have to adjust your driving style slightly, the low down lag makes for nice smooth town driving in my opinion. just change down a gear and there is no lag.

Fit a Harvey up pipe with your RCM headers works well with my 321T not laggy on jdm 2.0 you can't expect a big turbo to spool like a TD04

depending on what ECU you have the alcatek will give you better resolution on the timing/fuel maps which will make it easier for the mapper to hit the mark.

Meth has the effect of increasing fuel octane which allows more timing advance and that will get you more power, so will running a little leaner but it depends how good your intercooling is. Alcohol injection kit might be easier to live with once it's setup right with a decent twin map setup on the car. You can have "low" (or lower than max rather) boost to tramp around on then switch to the higher boost map (where the booze injection is activated by boost pressure switch) and the higher boost/timing combo will net you higher figures when you need it.

Seems odd this.. would like to see some of the dyno charts from the lower results,

Just had mine tweeked today and my MD321T made 440/380 @1.6bar on a standard 2.0 JDM bug engine. (fitted to a blob uk car)

Mods are Harvey 3 bolt up pipe/RCM headers, 840cc injectors, AVCR, HDI FMIC, 3" turbo back, RCM intake etc etc.

It would be interesting to see AFR and Boost plots from dyno runs from others.
