My old Legacy obsession back to haunt me ! It`s still got that 2.5 lump, though.
Haven`t been on UKLegacy for a while, but I bet genIV spec B`s are common as muck now!
I think a GRB spec c will be a bit more "spec" ial , and the wagon, much as I love it, is at that point at 83 000 miles where I either spend a lot modding it into old age, or sell it on whilst it is still decent. I`ve had it from 16 000 miles, and will be gutted to see it go. Still got to have 5 doors though !! Still got yours?

That's a nice car you've been looking at there. Would only consider replacing my S-GT with another JDM hatch.

My legacy has been gone awhile now. There was 72K on it when I sold it so I had done 22K on rebuilt engine. Was still running ok but needed something abit newer for work. Did briefly consider a JDM spec B but as I had the Impreza didn't bother. May consider the new Levorg if I go back to a Subaru for my daily but the UK model choice looks crap ( as usual) with only one engine option !

Not sure I could drive something called a Levorg !!
A black spec c went last night at auction, 90000km, a bit too high for me. I`ll find out what it went for.

Black one failed to sell, bidding stopped at £ 13500, uk registered price; makes a mockery of some of the uk hatch prices around at the moment, and the yen is dropping !!

Budding stopped as there were no more bidders after 13500 pounds? Wonder what the reserve was.

On eBay there's a STi with over 60k on the clock and they want 15k for it adds main dealer.

Sometimes the price is negotiable after the auction, otherwise it generally comes back on next week, but just guessing, maybe £ 14500, or there abouts. There`s a silver 48000km one on tomorrow, but it has coilovers and an ugly exhaust mod so not for me, starts at £ 15000, reg here.

Nice forged hatch has come up for sale on the forum I help run , also a member on here (Jamiejerkovic), here is the spec

So im thinking of selling up if i get some interest. (14k)

Unfortunately the time has come to put my Forged 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX STI in lightening red up for sale.
I bought the car completely standard from Performance Car Company in November 2013 and its been my pride and joy ever since.

Having been in Subaru ownership prior to this car I was well aware of some of the problems with the 2.5 engine can cause and it was something i wanted to rectify as soon as possible.
After a year of collecting parts i had the engine rebuilt by Paul Randle aka PR Developments. Paul is based in Hinckley, Leicester. He has his own little unit where he does all of his work, not many people have heard of him but he gets plenty of business through word of mouth. He works to a very high standard and i couldnt recommend him highly enough. Ill be more than happy to give you his number and he will answer any questions/queries you have regarding the rebuild.

The Car was rebuilt at 44734 miles and had a running in map put on it by Duncan @ Racedynmix. After 725 long miles i changed the oil and filter before the big remap at Roger Clark Motorsport. Having had ECUTEK Racerom software it came with the following features... Launch Control, Throttle Blip, Flat Foot Shifting, Dual Maps. The car made 441BHP/450FTLBS @1.6 Bar and Circa 400BHP @1.3 Bar. Both maps easily changed using the SI-Drive. This car is very fast and pulls like a train in every gear!

Spec C is 30 kg lighter, mechanical LSD, ball bearing turbo, water spray tmic, up rated fuel pump, bespoke springs/shocks, thicker roll bar, gold brembos, Bridgestone RE 070 tyres. 1st made 2009.
JDM and spec C look quite different in stance, OE alloys different.
Post up a pic of your hatch.

Depends what comes to auction, SK, but something similar to the one at JPP should be achievable for £ 18 000, maybe with a little more mileage.
I am aiming for original condition, around 40 000 miles, and I would accept a few dings as it`s going to be a daily, so I couldn`t live with it being immaculate.
Every week some t****r gives us a scratch or car park ding round here.... just getting a dash cam, but can`t choose.
I am very taken by that one though......

Joe, Yours appears to be a UK 2.5l hatch, correct me if I`m wrong. This thread is about JDM hatches, which are 2.0l. They normally have smoked rear windows, like all newage jdm`s; also the badging on the rear of yours is UK style, plus you`ve already posted about 2.5l parts ? They are not the same at all, and quite rare

Yes it's a 2.5 but I didn't realise the others had a 2.0 that's why I asked the question.

Thanks anyway I best leave before I get a telling off
