Daley Blind, what is his best position, I don't think it should be in the MU 1st team, too slow, can't pass, not exactly a box to box player, squad player at best for me
I do think Citeeh will spiral out of control and loose quite a lot of league games before the seasons finished, a stupid decision to go public over Pep so early, there's no great incentive at the club, a manager who's marking time, can't win the league (or will need a miracle), players getting paid way too much to care about this season, CL will be there priority
Lets hope they end up fifth, us 4th and Pep has Europa League hehehehe

Can't see United will be in top 4. Annoying thing is i feel United would have won if Mata hadn't got sent off.

I didn't see that myself, they were crap.
I'm away this weekend to the West Ham FA cup match too, so I'm hoping that the weather is at least good

I didn't see that myself either, even before Mata had got sent off West Brom were the ones creating all the chances and they were the ones looking most likely to score. It reminded me a bit of the Watford game at home where West Brom had a lot of ball around and in our box and probably should have scored long before they did, United got away with it against Watford but didn't against West Brom. Apart from the Arsenal game, most of the performances have been very similar, painful to watch where we never really look like scoring.

The last time I saw Man U vs W Ham in the FA Cup, I was behind the United goal when this happened.

What a shambles. No pace and just looked clumsy everywhere. De Gea saved us from a thrashing.

We'd be in the bottom quarter of the premier table if it weren't for De Gea.
I didn't see any of the game, but I gather united were completely shyte

Well that went as expected. Thought we might be able to score twice but couldnt see us not conceding. Got in the right areas plenty of times but the finishing was abysmal and we looked vulnerable on every counter attack. The way Coutinho got past Varela was embarassing. Way too much space and lack of pressure on our right.

I am so done with the LvG muppet show. Every time I see his mug on the screen I want to punch it.

I watched it until LFC equalised, then turned it off.
At least Kompany won't be playing on Sunday.

Dont think it will matter. If we lose we can kiss goodbye champs league. I want us to win as means more chance Pep wont be in champs league either. But I am at the point where losing means more chance that LvG gets booted early.

Only watched highlights, but when they attceked looked good, passing was fast, more of the United of old, just no one to finish. Just need a world class striker aswell. Hopefully Martail and Rashford will get better, Rooney's best as cam, but makes me think if had Aguero up front, we'd get alot more goals.

Its annoying when you watch Barcelona as they might aswell have 3 world class strikers, and City have 1, Chelsea have 1, United have none. I don't even know if a manager change would help, i hope i'm wrong.

sad day when we can't beat a poor Liverpool
we are in a bad way all over the park and on the touchline
total revamp must happen or we will be in the wilderness like LFC for the foreseeable future
SAF must take some blame for not recognising the fact he was stepping down after so many years and got someone in a couple of years before he left, even if it was Moyes, things might have rolled along better
I wonder if SAF is secretly laughing that the team has fallen down so badly since he left
and it's making his tenure look even better....Mmmm I wouldn't like to think so, but history will only show failure in the years after SAF

The thing I tire of is LvG playing people out of position when he doesn't need to.

Is his philosophy to confuse the opposition or just his own players .....

His substitutions last night ?

Are you seriously laying some of the blame at Fergie's door for Utd's decline? I'm far from a Utd fan but as a neutral, the only thing you can blame him for is getting old!

LVG has been a total failure and Utd's plight can only lay at his door. Its not like he hasn't had the financial backing having spent a quarter of a billion pounds on players that are no better(some worse) than what he already had.

I for one can't believe LVG is still in a job, IMO he should of gone months ago, just to try and stop the rot. It's been obvious for a long time it isn't working and his inevitable sacking which will now no doubt take place when the season ends is to late, it will probably cost Utd a place in the champions league and the riches that come with it.

I can see Utd turning into another Liverpool.....I really can.

What do you think tomorrows formation will be? And who will be playing where?

I think it will be as I've arranged in link.

Obviously I'm a massive admirer of what Fergie did for us, from nowhere to the greatest team in the UK year on year, there's no doubt we were the best for years and it was all his doing
but, he left an ageing squad which over achieved in his final years, due to SAF's drive, motivational skills, fear factor and personality, he made the team bullet proo
We should have had a smoother hand over in his final years, we should have nurtured and bedded the new manager in over a period, not SAF out Moyes in, his boots and achievements were too great for anyone to fill like that, but it's easy to look back in hindsight
Poor business acumen, financially disasterous
We will replace LVG, so that'll be 2 managers in 3 years, not good
I'm old enough to have watched UTD through the bad years, so I know how bad it gets, some younger kids had never seen us out of the top 4 in their lifetimes, a new experience - reality, we can't and shouldn't expect to win all the time, however much we'd love to lol
We have to hope and prey the failings LFC have and are suffering with regards League titles doesn't come our way, we don't want to have another 26 barren years without a title as we endured before SAF finally cracked it

Not forgetting, Chelsea and Man city now have rich owners, so there's alot more completion for the title, use to be mainly between a couple of teams, plus with Leicester's insane form and Spurs having built a good team its making things alot more harder.

All being said great win today, although i missed Rashford's goal, so match of the day here we come.

Good performance by United, but nervy last 20.

I don't get it, first leg against LFC, they looked like they couldn't be bothered, the were poor against West Ham in the FA CUP, then they put on a performance like yesterday.

Storey of our season, we've had 5 or 6 top results in the league but then after each one we follow up with 2 or 3 cr@p performances.

Beat Liverpool twice, beat and drew with City, beat Spurs, not lost to Chelsea, not lost to Leicester, beat Arsenal last time out. Most seasons you would take that but its all the other results that have cost us - that coupled with the dire style.

Rashford has impressed me massively the last two games, I was at OT on Thursday and he ran all game. Yesterday his hold up play was great. Thought he may be another Macheda 'flash in the pan' but hopefully he looks like he has more in his locker

Rashford does look good, was impressed with amount of running he did aswell, although thought he should of saved his energy for when it really mattered, as at the end he was cramping up.
