I really hope they get what's coming to them.
Question is would you want the car back now? No doubt the little ****s have ragged it from the word go.
I still think that people that steal should have a finger removed for every theft.
Only way they will learn.

I think someone should invent a system where you can see where they are going via a hidden cam, wait until they are gunning it towards a corner with a big stone wall, lots of trees or a cliff, then activate the steering lock and kill the brakes remotely.

Only just picked up on this thread, gutted for you and bad enough having one car taken. Unfortunately the justice system in this country is such that these sorts of cockroaches are not really worried about getting caught. Really hope this all gets sorted out for you soon.

Gutted for you mate, there's a lot of this going on around Leeds and surrounding areas at the minute, i'm a member on a bmw forum and a guy in Harrogate had an attempt to steal his M135i the other week, same method, snapped euro cylinders but he disturbed them, they still managed to get his wifes new Peugeot though, last seen heading towards Leeds. I've just upgraded all my exterior locks to abs avocet ones, fitted high security handles and put sash jammers on all opening doors and windows, anyway mate i'm from Leeds so will keep an eye out and hopefully you'll get it back relatively unscathed.

Probably worth a trip to Bradford, it will either be up for sale with new plates, or getting broken at the likes of those shifty breakers like SAK AS World.
Gutted for you mate...to be honest, even if you did get it back now, it will of been ragged to death. Maybe an excuse for a new engine though, so silver lining!
Fingers crossed

Had to send the spare key and all the docs to my car to the insurance company yesterday, Its a right nightmare, as they want you to write how my car was stolen etc, and then they ask you again by phone call(which is recorded) makes me worried incase I miss a little bit of detail out for them to not pay out.

Cheers guys.
I have been searching the streets since they went missing, been around leeds and bradford but not spotted them yet.
Police did ring last night and told us my Scooby was reported to be seen parked up and driving/screwing around in Bramley on Thursday so might still be out there?
Justice won't be served even if they are caught, the punishment is far too easy for them, couple of weeks in prison playing on the playstation or a bit of gardening duty no doubt! No wonder car and other crimes are on the rise!!!

If I were the judge and jury they would be sentenced to two fingers chopped off for both cars and I'm sure ourlass could think of something else to chop off for the burglary, she's still finding it hard to sleep knowing the B@stards were only 10 meters from where we were sleeping!

Hopefully they will get a good old school judge who will serve them as much punishment as the law allows

100% yes. This was my 3rd Impreza and by far the best one I owned,I just love the way these cars are in every way, still put a smile on my face every day I drove it. I will make the next one I get virtually unstealable!
It might well take me a long time to save up and find another good one, knowing the insurance pay out will be a lot less than the car was worth and my insurance premiums probably through the roof, this and the fact prices are still on the rise as well as good clean examples being less available is going to make it difficult for me,but one day I will own another nice Scooby.
