By looking at that picture on the PC it looks like the clear coat, but you said thats fine. That means the prep wasn't done properly.

I'm goin to send it back tomorrow and see what they have to say and give them a week to sort it. I'll keep everyone posted on the outcome.

Are people not removing the rubber and black strips around the doors before painting?

Hi,

Yes they did remove all the rubber seals and door trim before paintonting and thankfully put it back without breaking them...

Anyway.. took it back. Appeared to respray the rear quarter and blend more. Its not as noticeable but still not to my OCD standards! They didn't even fix the bumper mess. Absolutely useless! Can't believe the amount of work they get in as well with mercs and BMW's. It was a recommendation and I won't be going back! Live and learn. I fancy taking up a body repair course because my finishing standards would be a hell of a lot better and accurate..

This is the problem, you go with a recommendation and they are crap.

I did take it somewhere else for a second opinion and they said it sometimes happens but can be corrected. Not enough base coat. They said to fix the crap work it would be 250...
