It's the excuses we are getting now some of us are pointing out the anomolous nature of the "refugees", that get to me.

1. Most of the "refugees" seem to be young males?
That's because they left their women and children in Syrian safe camps so as to cross Europe looking for asylum, before sending for them.

2. This guy was pictured as an ISIS fighter last year?

3. Why are they shown throwing their wives and children onto railway tracks?
Oh, they are desperate.

4. Why are they refusing water and food in Budapest on boarding trains, and burning blankets and food in Calais?
Not halal..........

5. ISIS bragged that they would have 50,000 trained fighter in Europe this year. Now we are opening our doors?
How could they have started all this just to get terrorists into Europe?

BTW: they didn't, but by God, they are taking the chance when it appears.

 

At the very least we need to indentify and monitor every single "asylum seeker" that gets into Europe. Get their picture, DNA, their iris pattern, and fingerprint, log it on a internationally readable database.

Prioritise families. And no extra benefit entitlement should they start popping out more kids on EU soil. Anyone who comits a crime or is found to be extemist in views is deported.

A Europe wide plan to create and mobilise an attack infantry against IS and attempt to stabilise the countries they exist in; The men who seek Asylum in from these countries will have to do military service in this army.

My main point here is that if the British all ran off to the USA as refugees in WWII and left the Uk for surrender, where/what would we or the UK be now?

I've seen most of those films elsewhere.

The Beeb didn't have anything about the Calais migrants burning half a tonne of blankets and food. Yet it was on the french news.
They showed french CRS apparently harassing a Muslim family, but failed to show the guy chuck his wife and baby onto train tracks...French TV showed that.
They didn't show the migrants trying to pull an old lady out of her car in Italy.
They didn't show the refused food and water.
They didn't show the rock flinging, the violence in Rotherham and they never show the Muslims in places like Luton, ruling the roost.

We have problems and the Beeb are hiding them, for whatever reason.

Syrians et al cannot just keep running from their problems. Imagine if every British man in the UK did that in 1939?

 

It wasn't a civil war and it wasn't sectarian. Additionally, you'll strengthen not hinder IS if you send ground troops in. There's no solution, merely the containment operation that's currently in play. We weren't able to defeat the Taliban, what makes you think we can extirpate IS?

 

It took several years to build-up the men, materials and plan for the recapture of continental Europe from the ***** in WWII. Fair enough it's a different kind of war going on against IS, but don't you think medium or long-term plans should at least be looked at to eventually retake the territory they hold by force if they're stil there 10 years from now?

 

Yes, it should of course be looked at and no doubt is and has been, but the very best recruitment scenario for IS is for the 'infidels' to invade the 'Caliphate'. This is why I've been so pessimistic about a solution for so long. They're like a monster who grows two tentacles for every one you cut off. Virtually all the jihadist outfits around the globe have pledged allegiance to IS (with, perversely, the exception of AQ who deem them too brutal) so an allied force would need to look at a global solution, not just one limited to Northern Iraq and vast swathes of Syria. The West and its allies are in trouble on this one.

FWIW, the answer lies somewhere between the naive protesters and your polar opposition. We extend a helping hand to genuine refugees and we guard against the disingenuous. We do not allow all 'migrants' in to this island, that would be cultural suicide, but we do help out where we can. Perhaps you should go on a march, too.
