Was going to make my first post on this site a ''hello / awrite / hows it going/ my names bob'' thread, but came here instead - 9 pages (so far) of pure joy. Cars looking the business !

Have a quick question about the steering wheel Martin, could you use that with with a quick release steering wheel kit ? I was thinking you can, but then wondered if the air bag would cause any bother.

Cheers

Hi mate, thankyou for reading and glad you enjoyed it

Re the steering wheel it could be made to fit with a boss and the resistor would cancel the air bag light but I'm not sure it would look very pretty without the air bag... The wheels designed to take the air bag which completes it.

You could get a similar flat bottom omp wheel and its be cheaper too

Hope this helps and welcome to SN

Ahhh... Now I see why the genome is up for sale, I was wondering what u had replaced it with not a bad choice lol

And those wheels

Are you thinking of getting a set of kas's wind deflectors, I've asked him to put a set aside for me think they will look awesome.

Couldt find a better exhaust to replace the genome with mate

The volks are also up for sale, simply to off load some wheels as I have the BBS wheels too...

Already have jdm wind deflectors as standard mate

Hard to say really mate, I paid £700 for mine no tyres... But then struggled to sell a set with tyres for the same. Think I sold my last set for £550.

I'd say refurb them black mate... If I was in a position is take them off you for sure

I've had the same wheel fitted to my hawk and my FSTI and they are amazing. You won't want to drive another car without one fitted.

Don't sell up Martin! Lovely hawk this, just pure JDM ****!

I'd want minimum 16k if that was my hawkeye but then again if I had a white hawk like martins I would never sell it honestly you just spent so much on it not mentioning the gauges right down to the quick steering sticker, any1 would be hard pushed to find an example as yours pal
P.s you still owe me 20p

Zany I'd snap 16k up straight away lol... I'll have a look when I'm free at the market and prices but won't let it go for silly money... Has the right mods and is an all round beautiful car just can't justify motor way driving in it... Lol mate hopefully this summer we'll meet up I'll pay you your winnings
