I'm still torn between the low and wide look or some prodrive gt1's in anthracite. Not sure they would work with the tein springs that are on though, would have to look into it.

Having had xxrs I can tell you they are dog ****
The car needs some original size wheels.
Yes the stance look is subjective ,but it's a Spec c so you don't want to ruin the handling too.

Errrrmmm, i don't think it is a Spec C - just a JDM STI.

In the end though, i think i've decided on XXR 527's in Bronze or Gunmetal.

I know, it's been done to death, but really liking the look.

I have 527's in chrome black on my hawk, a quick search will find it for you.

I personally do like them, and always get shot down for having them, however take note of the following:-

The paint on them is ****e, and soft, after being on the car for just 6 months the rears had stone chips the size of 5p pieces and the whole wheels will soon need a refurb.

I bought mine for a price I could not refuse so I am still happy, had I bought them from new at full retail I would not have been to happy.

If you can get a better make of the similar design. Speed lines would be a great choice...

And the do clear 355 mm brakes in 18 inch versions.
I bought mine from frayz who had 356mm discs and I also have 356mm discs.
Gaz (pink Ninja) also has them over 356mm brakes

Would agree with above, either Speedlines or Enkeis (on the new Type 25).

Oh my think ive made a mess

Speedline Turini will fit over the AP's and they seem to suit any car they are on.

Turinis look the nuts and the 18x8s fall over a set of 356mm APs.

Decision made then, speedline turinis in anthracite.

If anyone can advise on size, width, offset and tyre size that would be most helpful

Even though have white wheels myself, and I don't really like black wheels I voted for black. It looks much more aggressive and ties in nicely with your headlights and splitter

Size and offset totally depends on what you want from the car and what they're available in

I still say go for gold, the shade turins come in is really nice too, anthracite looks dull and very ordinary by comparison.

Each to their own and everything is subjective, but i will never have gold wheels on my car i'm afraid. Just not my thing at all.
