I am the same as you mate, after them in Carbon Fibre, Got my front lip from Storm Motorsport (Xtreme Carbon are the manufacturers) and I contacted them about the full skirt kit and they said they ar hoping to have them on the market later this year.

Like the OP said I think (And heard several people say including an importer) its how / what they are registered as when first come into the UK.

I know when I was considering JDM last year they were all cheaper road tax.
