Of course, scaled down, it's possible this technology (issues of survivability, navigation and actual possibility) this could lead to significantly faster travel than we have now, making travelling around the solar system alot easier, but the stars are still a pipe dream.

Personally, I would love to think that the galaxy is awash with races travelling around using some sort of exotic technology, it just seems a bit unlikely.

Apparently the space shuttle when it was operational had to have several aborted launches on the pad .. Yes the media & official excuse was technical glitches ,, but if you dig deep enough you find the story about "orbs" circling the orbiter on the pad .
Maybe it was static ?
Maybe it was ball lightning caused by the ignition process ?
Maybe we as a race were been " probed "
Who knows , but NASA created a secret file on the subject titled
" project Blue Beam"

Read Winnie Lynches speech that he gave on the James River back in the days of African slavery, then have a think about it and tell me it's not just been extended and tweaked over the past couple of centuries to include all man kind.

As for the space shuttle orb related incidents , this was years back someone told me over a cigarette & cup of coffee, I didn't believe but was shown a video , it looked pretty real , & technology was a little less tech back then so I don't think it was fake ...
Everything has a answer . I dont believe it was aliens as such , but fascinated as I loved looking at the orbiter at launch ,, ball lightning from electrical conduction or static charge is prob the most likely conclusion ...

I love videos like that, show nothing, but are apparently evidence that aliens buzzed NASA!

By the end of the htread, there seems to be a fairly good consensus that the alien 'orbs' are in fact condensation as they all appear simultaneously and then melt away!

As for the second video, it shows something that you cannot say what it is, but that is a whole different thing from it being something sinister.
