A child in Birmingham is now more likely to be a Muslim than Christian!
Probably did and the reason would have been justified at the time. However feel free to join. You have many questions which can be answered. Unfortunately I have lost a lot of respect that I had for you and this is one of the reasons I would not join you.
Surely there must be a specific forum for it.
This is a Subaru forum and I doubt anyone really gives a **** other than you.
Pray to Sarah, invoke some law I couldn't care less in all honesty.
Mate you are clearly starting another thread about your religion spoiling for a fight.

Either that or drop the hypocricy and fix that gouge in your shoulder.
As as you are doing is quoting me for a response as nobody else is commenting I'll make this my last reply

So after literally years of people on here starting threads about Muslims (generally as a way to pick a fight with them and trot out a load of anti-Muslim rhetoric) you decide to criticise a Muslim for doing it
And yet you start your very own thread on here, having accused others of trolling.
Perhaps you should f*ck off (a phrase you like to use) to a more appropriate platform Shaid, rather than being a complete fud on here?

Hence why you spread lies. Nevertheless this thread is about Muslims > Christians in Brum.
So please take my and your mutually agreed advice and **** off.

It seems to me that we still get a number of posters who love nothing more than to post fairly harsh anti-Muslim rhetoric and who, in some cases, are very guilty of tarring all Muslims with the extremist brush.
When Shaid or Maz or banny (not these days as he was driven out) or whoever try and add some balance they are metaphorically prodded with various 'sticks' until they get fed up and make a less than balanced retort whereupon the perpetrators state how said retort justifies their, frankly bigoted, opinions.
To go back to banny for a minute I have to say I find it very odd that the moderators of this board seem quite happy to see a member driven out of the community whose knowledge of and activity within the Subaru enthusiast scene is huge yet let certain other posters remain on the board who have no other agenda than to stir up racism, homophobia and misogyny and use the forum as a conduit to spout their nonsense and take pleasure in seeing people like banny leave for good!
If all that seems a bit strong then tough! It's about time someone told it like it is. There is a growing culture of bullying on this forum... in NSR it is about the issues I mention above whereas on General it tends to be more towards people that don't conform to the current 'breed' of Subaru enthusiast such as the crap that powerwrx gets from trinity's little clique for just trying to find the right car.
I have seriously questioned in recent weeks why I come back here as RTMs are basically ignored and frankly I find the treatment of some members of the board as utterly distasteful. There are two reasons I stay, one is that there are some posters on here who I very much enjoy interacting with and secondly I am not going to give the ****s the pleasure of driving me away too!

You do realise that continually posting something only makes it real in your own mind?
Yep, same again
Ahh..your stock cop out. I wondered when that would appear
Hence why you spread lies

Have you taken this grievance of yours up to the moderators? Lies and abuse can be very disturbing and damaging to the forum, and can be even lawfully challenged. Internet is accessible to all those official bodies that are to preserve peace and remove disturbance. I see that your way of dealing with all that is to cause another ripple, as you may feel that you aren't being heard by the ones responsible to keep peace and harmony here. Am I right?

As for what others users are allowed to post, it is bloody hard drawing a line between what is a fair discussion, and what is out of bounds. People would be going mad if we just said, to hell, any topic involving anything to do with Islam is a no no. If we allow such topics (considering there are a lot of current affairs with Islam in some way involved) then where do we draw the line on what people can say? It's easy if someone uses offensive terms, a bit more difficult if people are 'just' voicing an opinion however much some of us may not agree with it.
I've already removed a comment from this thread that was not acceptable, there are plenty more that should have gone as well in my opinion, but as they have been replied to, it seems a bit pointless now. I will say though, I'd appreciate it if 'raghead' and the likes didn't keep cropping up though.
While on the subject of that particular term, it does actually surprise me that only one RTM came in about it, and I'll not name the person who did, but I will say I'm surprised by who didn't. And saying RTMs are ignored is a cop out, as yes, some are not acted upon, many are (including as I say, one on this thread).
Out of order! I was far from happy when Banny contacted me about having a break from SN. He gave his reason for that to some degree and I respect his wish, but it made me anything but happy.

If you feel I am being overly critical just ban me, but I am not going to back down over what I feel to be true.
You may not have been happy about banny leaving but nothing was done about the reasons why! Not that that should be solely down to you hence my comment!

My comments aren't particularly aimed at you Lisa as I feel you do more than your fair share, but the fact remains that there is a small set of people on here who get away with undertones of bigotry over and over again so my criticism is aimed at SN as a whole tbh!

I'm not trying to avoid the issue, but I don't really want to discuss Banny, in the sense that I wouldn't want him to feel he's been talked about, if that makes sense. What I will say, is we are friends away from here too, and whenever he wishes to speak in depth about how he feels regarding SN, who/what specifically is the problem and if/how it can be resolved, then he knows I am always there for him.
I'm not going to ban you for being critical. It's how you feel, and you are entitled to your view.

Fair enough Lisa, but I think it's the whole undertone of the site that is the problem. It's very borderline I grant you, but I wouldn't come here if I were a Muslim given some of the general feeling from a certain section of the community. He's not the only one either btw, but anyway I have said my piece!
Shaid himself was banging on yesterday about democracy and acceptance of the majority view being the be all and end all.
If the majority view differs from his, then by his own words he should accept that, as should we all.
Can't have it every way mate.
'Majority view' according to what?
