Matching Green Classic and Sportscar Show 2015
Paul, we will be making an appearance so i'll make sure I have the club stand packed for you all.
I would suggest anyone travelling through Chelmsford to meet up in the Tesco's car park next to Miami Hotel on Princes Road for 8.30 leaving there at 9.

Very tempted to come along to this, about time I start doing car shows with other people on here. Just got to fix my splitter first though... I'm staying in Thurrock Premier Inn that weekend so which pre-meet is closest? I've seen Chelmsford mentioned...
lol im looking to stay there on Sat night lol
My work place is round corner on Purfleet bypass so gonna machine polish the car there on the Saturday, ready for Sunday
Have a good show on Sunday. I'm off to a Rock 'N Roll weekend so I guess I'll be seeing a few old American jalopies! (don't snigger, you'll all be as old as me one day!)

I've gotta wash mine by hand on saturday down in Ashford and then pray it doesn't rain/get **** on/mud splattered on the drive on saturday afternoon to the hotel and sunday morning to Chelmsford. I'll probably end up bringing a bottle of water and some kitchen roll incase that happens lol

From: It's not a Scoob, or even a Skoda, but 200bhp is on the horizon..
I'll meet everyone at Hatfield Heath, but only staying till 1pm as my Brother in Law was rushed to the PAH Hospital mid-week with some pretty serious heart problems, so I will be off there for the afternoon and will meet other family members already there, so will drive down with you lot but will park up on the public parking area so I can slip off without disturbing the stand........
See ya in the mornin.........
See ya in the mornin.........
I gotta pull out of this one now.
I spent a day @ Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb today, my eldest was racing a 5.0litre single seater!
So, I've had my petrol fix for the w/e and gotta do family stuff tomorrow.
.....the Wagon is filthy anyway so I would not be a good example!
Hava good show!

Great turn out, was good catching up with you all........oh that's right, only 2 of us bothered turning up, bloody awesome!!
Had a massive pitch allocated to us, made the club look a bit stupid to be honest!!
Was told there were 8 Scoobs at the petrol station meeting point in Chelmsford, would have been nice to have least been told no one could be bothered to go any further.
It was a good show even with the weather, loads of lovely old classics bothered to make it, I must have the only Scoob that doesn't melt in light rain!!
Won't bother next year, bring back Tiny!!

We were all at the meeting point in Hatfield Heath waiting for you but you didn't show up. It was bucketing it down for the half and hour we waited and the forecast was that the weather was set in for the rest of the day. Some of us had small kids with us and sitting in a car in the rain gets very boring very quickly so unfortunately the decision was made to blow it out. Not an easy decision and we were gutted.
Oh dear...............what a dreadful shame. I can empathise with KinQuick's thoughts there although conversely, I see some logic behind Fozz's sentiments.
Kin's comment re - "bring back Tiny" resonates with my comment in the "End of an era" thread.
