The amount of child sex abuse that some developed countries have is beyond belief, and not all cases are even reported to be counted in the statistics. So many messed up kids, so many troubled families. It never has been just down to the Muslims, and it never will be. It's often heard that the muslims and the likes are oppressed and that's why they may be so twisted, ok, but it certainly seems ironic that in the so-called developed world, where there're ample opportunities and sexual freedom for and among the natives, there're still a lot of sexual predators that engage in sexual activities with the minors; including with their own blood relations.

Self-harm is rife in the UK due to fcked up young minds; as young as even 8-9. And it's not all down to the Rhotherham rape gang.

It doesn't mean that it's a competition, though. Nor is it a comparison. Any party, any individual that commits sexual abuse commits a serious and a very damaging crime.

 

This is what pisses me off too, they should be put on general population wings so other inmates get to meet them face to face, it'd soon stop the paedos committing the crimes or at least make them think twice.

Possibly not, but I've found, generally speaking, that they just consist of everyone agreeing that the offenders are sick ****s, and everybody moves on, once they've said that. When they are about Muslim offenders, for some reason, those threads go off into a deeper argument and go on and on, rather than just remaining focused on the fact that those committing such crimes are just still sick ****s.

 

There's no debate, everyone agrees. Just as if a white British fella shot a load of people everyone would be disgusted. There's no 'yeah but, no but'. The Muslim peadophile threads I've seen in here tend to be 'what about the Catholic Church?' Etc etc etc.

That's because thee are a number of posters who are borderline racists and like to take any threads on Muslims down a certain path. They are actually quite clever as they never fully overstep the mark, but it's not hard to see their true colours if you stand back a bit.

 

Whereas openly stereotyping white people is fine .

Partly that, and (I've most likely done it) some of us come along and quickly make the point that it's not just a Muslim thing, or why has race/religion been mentioned etc. etc. and the combination of the two ends up making the thread into an argument about that, rather than remaining focused on the fact that whoever commits such crimes, are sick in the head. Whoever is guilty of derailing threads into a race/religion row, are moving it away from the original point, that an awful crime has been committed, and for all a lot of us disagree on many topics here, I think that is one thing we all agree on.

Not institutionally no, but there are a small number of quite vocal posters who like to walk the tightrope of what's acceptable IMO.

People like Maz, Shaid and banny (although he had finally had enough recently and left) get a rough ride on here sometimes. An example of what goes on is Shaid who defends his faith quite politely at first but gets wound up by the usual suspects and when he eventually gives it them back they claim it is proof of how intolerant he is about his religion being criticised. A bit like repeatedly kicking someone and when they kick back accusing them of being violent.

It's not just racism, homophobia is another topic on here with a few 'supporters'.

Maybe, maybe not, but in this case I don't believe if the thread was just posted as "British military raped girl" for example it would have gone down any other route.
There has also been "Muslim" threads started by Maz for example so everyone is guilty in their own way including me and you of adding to it.

I have fallen for it before today and posted a thread involving Muslims but for reasons of now understanding SN a little better I wouldn't again, I will join in though if some else starts one.

I have no problems calling a spade a spade (pardon the pun). All paedos want eradicating from society. This soldier is neither representative of other soldiers, Caucasians or humans generally. The guilty by association is not a fair process of judging someone and it is done too often by people from all walks of society.
