Paris Shooting
Oh I agree.
However one must accept that just like terrorists have tarnished Islam the knuckle draggers have tarnished the image of the St George flag. Hence why in my opinion if St George was around today he would be disgusted.

I agree the flag's been hijacked, but I don't think shaving one's head and chanting 'no surrender' before necking a pint is as bad as growing a beard and shouting 'Alan's snack bar' before whipping someone's head off.
Well, crack on. You can all say whatever you want to each other, ruin threads with childish name calling, but I don't want to see a single PM or RTM complaining when somebody says something nasty back. I don't care who makes the worse comment, whether it's accurate etc etc.
I've frankly had enough of trying to do my best, and be fair, and having it thrown straight back in my face.
Apologies to everyone for that little outburst on this thread.
So if you saw someone wearing a shirt with the cross of St George, or if they had the flag flying outside of their house, what would be your immediate thoughts?
As a Muslim and Subaru enthusiast I would like to make clear that these animals do not represent me or Islaam in any way.
The following link is by a very well known person in my community:
The massacre which took place at the French magazine Charlie Hebdo is condemned by Islam and sound reason.
I will be listening in to this tomorrow and request anyone who can to also listen in on Live.Mpubs.org @ 10:40am tomorrow.

I've changed my FB profile pic. to 'Je suis Charlie' and have been raising awareness of the threat Islamism poses long before it became socially acceptable. I'm also hoping to attend this on Sunday:

If I see anyone with brown skin, a beard or a hijab, I'll let you know. Your turn...

You know what, all I have tried to do on here is moderate when needed (probably not as tough as I should be) in a fair and polite way, and being absolutely honest, I think it's a tad unfair to make snipes at me for that.

Even if that were true it would be better than thinking like you!

Now come on Shaid, you know as well as I do that when the West kills Muslims it's called liberation, but when Muslims kill Westerners it's called terrorism
In fact their is not another group or religion in the world where that would be expected, just Muslims and you can lay that squarely at the door of the media, the governments of the West and the idiots who are sucked in by the nonsense they create.
Well you're technically correct, but it's close enough and we both know that even if they had then no one would have ever expected all Catholics to denounce their actions.

He said that when there is an an outrage against Muslims (in Palestine for instance), there is typically a very public demonstration by Muslims (obviously rightly so), yet when we have Paris type atrocities where are the same people?
It is an uncomfortable truth that there is an apparent difference in response.
I'd like to once again state that I do not for one second believe that we should be holding the Muslim community respinsible for the action of a very few loons. And I absolutely feckin recoil at a few folk on here that use horrors like this to make ridiculous points about multiculturalism.
