This is a Fantastic Build, I am loving the attention to detail.

Can you please put up some photos of the E30 M3.

Latest update of the build, almost ready for some fuel and a fire up!

Managed to get the new engine plaque sorted, just need to stamp it with my build number.. should last longer than the original screen printed part it's stainless with burnt in laser etched text.

Also getting some tyre pressure stickers made will post some pics when done....

It's going to be a few months until I can get more made... but it can be done!

Cheers

Yes, it's nearly done, fired up first time!

Jobs list is pretty small now-

Rear driveshafts to grease / fit
Fit front seats and door cards
Fit front screen!

Tracking and final polish at the bodyshop.

Will get some pictures up in a week or 2...

Cheers

Where do you get all the plating done on the metal work? So you have factory fresh gold looking color?

Was done at EC Williams in Birmingham... 2 different processes cast and steel parts...

Price is about £50-60 a batch (large bucket full) larger items that may need suspending such as filler neck and uprights are done on a quote. Think every bracket and nut and bolt etc was around £300...

Cheers

Speaking as somebody doing a full car restoration and rebuild but in a very different way and for different reasons I was just wondering what your end game is?

Are you going to use it? Show it? Or keep it locked away?

All worthy causes and you have done a great job but I can't help but think all the parts you are replacing will corrode back just like the old parts in a few years if you use the car much. Obviously if it's a show car or display car that's not such an issue.

Don't get me wrong its a work of art and maximum respect for paying Subaru many hundreds in over priced parts but I wouldn't want to drive it in the rain!
